Since I'm a newby here,I'd like to post my first review of one my 14 gokins on this forum.I know the DX GD-42 Senpuujin was released about 3 years ago and all, but I'd like to post my review of GD-42 here. Senpuujin is about 9 inches tall and is made out of ABS Plastic and Die-cast metal. The metal parts of senpuujin include the thighs, right wrist ringlet(not the wheel though),bottom of the hind feet(black area),and the back of senpuujin's head(the part between the face and the tail. Because of this metal, Senpuujin's weight is very heavy and hefty.Senpuujin's only articulation include shoulders, right wrist, and feet. However aside from that, it has a gimmick where you insert the tail into the left shoulder and if you pull it, the mane of it turns fast. At most it's about 20 seconds and is really cool. I spent like 3 hours playing with it. Be careful though, the tail is made out of a fragile plastic and bending it can break it(fortunately mine didn't).Senpuujin is also a Super Sentai toy(from Ninpuu Sentai Harikenjaa). That means that senpuujin is made up of 3 different PARTS CALLED Shinobi Machines. The head of senpuujin is Hurricane hawk and is mainly colored red and white. It's composed of about 45%metal and 55% plastic. That 45% metal content is its back and a thin piece connecting its body and tail. Hurricane Hawk is probably my favorite piece, not because it belongs to the leader but because it can achieve poses such as flight mode, landing mode, and other poses. I also like this one because of its small size. However when handling Hurricane Hawk, watch out for the wings because the white paint within the red wings easily chips, even with a very light and sensitive touch. Overall a fun toy on its own, perfectly designed, and fun to play with and display. The next Shinobi machine is Hurricane Dolphin which makes up the right hand of Senpuujin.Hurricane dolphin is basically light blue with silver and white accents which include parts of its face, some lines on its body, and the wheel. It's probably my least favorite piece because there's nothing much you can do with this piece. The only thing it can do is attach to a tray so it can roll, to sort of simulate its swimming.Overall a so-so piece. The last Shinobi Machine to make up Senpuujin is Hurricane Leon. It's body is the main body for senpuujin and its head is the left arm. My second favorite piece and VERY VERY Heavy. He is basically yellow with regular blue parts surrounding his legs.Just like the dolphin, there's nothing much you can do with this. However it does contain the so-called Ferris wheel gimmick found on Senpuujin.Overall I liked this piece. So senpuujin is a really great piece that both collectors and kid's will like.NOTE: I know a lot of reviews reported about nervousness when assembling and de-assembling senpuujin, but I practically didn't feel this way. There you have it, my first review of a gokin toy. So what do you think? Post your thoughts here.

It's been a long time since I checked my thread.Well Thunderbreak thanks for posting the pics. WOW,I can't believe how big SOC Zambot 3(Zanbot???how his name is spelled)is when you display him next to Tenraisenpuujin. And I think I'm perfectly satisfied with my Gouraisenpuujin but that helicopter gimmick on Tenraisenpuujin makes me want to buy Tri-condor and Tenkuujin.

I actually have a MISB Samurai Star Megazord, which is pretty much identical to the Japanese set, and includes a Tricondor fig. PM me if you're interested!

Can Hurricane Lion's legs be removed and used on the beetle toros? Boy... going from memory, I don't think so. Maybe someone else has found it to work though. E

I found a pic of a broken one. It does not seem they can. Looks like it has a single ratchet peg on the waist joint. So I'd have to cut and modify to make it work. If I don't make any progress on anparts solution I'll just sell my zords.
