Time Force Megazord & Timerobo questions...

When Bandai brought over the TimeRobo from japan, the toy went through some changes. For starters:

-There is no silver paint along or on the cockpits of any of the Time Flyers.
-There is no silver paint on the tail section of Time Flyer-1, -2, or -3.
-On the TFMegazord- Mode Red, the large green display is painted
green, and a blank mirror-like silver decal is applied across the front
of it. On TimeRobo Alpha, it is a transparent green piece with a
holographic decal across the front.
-The sword is nothing but light gray plastic on the TFMegazord. The
TimeRobo Alpha has two silver-plated pieces for the hilt.

The USA version of the toy looks like this:




Now the toy came 2 ways. It came in its own box, and part of a two pack (with the time shadow) sold exclusively at Toys R Us.

Well, the one I have comes from the two-pack, and it looks like this:




The toy from the two pack does not have any of the modifications that the toy sold separately has. Could it be that the toy in the two-pack is the unmolested japanese version? Does anyone have either of these toys, and can tell me what version they have in which box?
