Hi, I'm only new to this forum so this may be a dumb question but please humour me. I purchased a Japenese release of Bandai GD-11 from a local store a while ago and I was wondering if a version may have been released in the USA. I know Saban has a habit of taking Japanese Sentai shows to recut a release as Power Rangers in the USA so this big guy may have turned up in a toy shop over there.

Welcome! It's not a dumb question at all. Bandai America did release a version of Gingaioh-- Galaxy Megazord. However, you're much better off with the Japanese version-- the US version removed almost all of the diecast and chrome. I don't really like the Gingaioh design, but MAN the BJ version is one gorgeously heavy bot.

Thanks ayakoholic, I do like this one and he is heavy with all the diecast in him. I don't think I'll worry abaout the US version then.

Man, I think I did ok with this item. I was always happy with it because I like the big, chunky look but now I'm even happier because it seems I got a bargain. I paid about US $ 75.00 for mine and I just saw one sell on Ebay in the last 10 days for US $ 176.00 plus shipping.

The owner of the store i got this from does frequent trips to Japan and Hong Kong so he always comes up with something interesting. That's crappy about yours missing bits though , I am sorry to hear that.

GD-11 I believe will get new interest in a couple of years. It truly is one heavy diecast toy. You got a great deal bomberx!
