Hi guys, I'm still fairly new to the whole Megazord thing but I've picked up a few over the past months and I've yet to be dissapointed. My latest purchase was the Animus Megazord, and I'm very impressed. So now I'm looking at the other Gaoranger / Wild Force Zords with a much greater interest and I'm looking for more information. Do the other Zords have a similar quality and die-cast content? Is it posible to 'mix and match' the Zords? For example, I've got it into my head that I can substitute the rhino for the bison, the wolf for the tiger etc? If mixing is possible, can I just buy the animal zords I want separatly or do some of the conecting parts only come in the sets? Sorry for the bunch of clueless questions, I hope someone can help educate me *Edit, I'm mainly talking UK/US release versions here

the whole series in my opinion is awesome. theres the wild force megazord and the isis megazord and the kongazord. there is also a remote control giant lion. ebay would be ur best bet for find them. but if u want to get the elephant zord or the red kongazord u'll have to get the japanese versions. there is also a panda bear zord that i think was released as a special edition a black and silver gaoking and a special edition toys r us set with the red kongazord and a black elephant. u'll probably find it all on ebay since they are all out of production

thayer.dartmouth.edu/~emerald/poweranimal/poweranimal.htmlYou can see my collection here. I had most of the DX Gaoranger line except for GaoGod/Animus and some of the recolors. I actually sold most of them, as I needed to make space and I've been concentrating on black versions in my collection. I still have a GaoGorilla, GaoPolar, and GaoBear that I'd be willing to let go if you're interested. You might want to look for the Japanese versions, there is a fair chunk more diecast in most of them. The PR versions aren't too bad, though. And you can totally mix and match pretty much all of the Power Animals/Wild Zords. It's possible to get the HK versions (same as the Japanese versions, but no mini-figures included) individually; almost all of them are available in sets, though. Off the top of my head: GaoKing/Wild Force MZ Eagle, Lion, Shark, Tiger, Bison GaoMuscle/Kongazord (?) Gorilla, Bear, Polar, Eagle, Bison GaoHunter/Predazord Alligator, Wolf, Hammerhead GaoIcarus/Isis MZ Falcon, Deer, Giraffe, Rhino, Armadillo GaoGod/Animus MZ Black Lion, Jaguar, Condor, SawShark, Buffalo GaoKnight Red Kong, Elephant, Bison, Shark, Eagle, Tiger Ultimus MZ Red Kong, Purple Bison, Shark, Tiger Others: GaoApe (Kong black version), DX Gaolion (combines with Falcon/Shark/Tiger/Elephant for GaoCentaurus/Pegasus MZ, GaoPanda (ultrarare send-in-a-coupon for random drawing prize)

Thanks for the help guys, that's pretty much what I was hoping to hear ;D
That's a lot of combinations, thanks for the link.
I'll keep an eye out for the Japanese and Hong Kong versions at a good price, but if Animus is anything to go by the PR versions are nice enough for my needs. I have a gaolion already so I guess I'll start searching for more.
Ayakoholic, I'll PM you about those zords (great collection, btw)

Personally I went for the jumbos because they are just spectacular. Jumbo gaoicarus and gaoking are as big as my 2 year old neice which makes them tops in my book.

So I still want to find out if there are any diecast content (not including wheels or joints) to these toys?
Thanks.

ronin777, the wild force animals do have some diecast content. For example the feet of the lion and tiger zords are metal, and the bison that forms the legs in megazord mode has some diecast content (its backside and the fronts of its upper legs in megazord mode). I think the Japanese or Hong Kong versions still have more but it's better than most of the UK/US releases.
The Animus Megazord (which I think is pretty much the same as the Wildforce Megazord) has quite a satisfying weight to it.
I've just put a few things on the scales for some weight comparisons:
Animus Megazord (UK/US version) 1lb 7oz (650 grams)
Time Force Megazord (UK/US version) 14oz (400g)
Liverobo DX 1lb 9oz (700g)
Gogglerobo DX (Goggle V) 1lb 2oz (500g)
