Well, just got TOR...What the hell is this? It has to be the worst robot I have ever seen. It looks like a bad Ninja Turtle villain from the early 90's. WORST ROBOT EVER!!! As a giant robot turtle though, it's great! AND you can hide your stash in it...whatever that may be, money etc... But what does it do? Mine has buttons but I can't find a battery case. Does anyone have the instructions scanned for this? Could they please send them to us (m8zinger and Galbot) Great. Have fun.

Yeah, most of the larger base-robots are cool because they're huge and look good in base mode but they generally make sub-par robots due to the fact that the base mode needs to somehow be incorportated into the toy. The point of being able to store the smaller zords into the base makes the bot mode suffer.
I think the base from Deka Rangers/Delta Force is the best of the lot.

I haven't got a copy of the instructions, but I can tell you that the battery cover is on top at the back between the things that look like a car rear wing.
Oh, and I agree it is crappy. However it does look cool when assembled with the Thunder megazord (and the white tiger megazord fits inside).
Does yours have the horn (that is almost always missing)?

There's a horn? no horn, the stickers around the turtle head and the robot head are gone and so is one of the round, red stickers on the turtle shell (REALLY dissapointing because it throws off the whole shell's design.) He really is an excellent turtle though with the whole mega-cannons on the side. So he combines with someone else? THAT I have got to see -GALBOT

Heh - Tor Shuttlezord was definitely in the suffers from "gobot" design - lie him down and he's a turtle, stand him up and he's a robot! Put something inside and he's a different robot?! Yes, Tor was to Thunder Megazord as Titanus was to the original Megazord... Except when MegaDragonzord rode on top of Titanus, guns moved around, the "paws" became like gloves for Megazord, the Dragonzord "chest-plate" became the front panel on Titanus - there was actually some real "combining" and "transforming" happening to create a new look for "Ultrazord." ...sadly to create the Ultra-Thunderzord, Tor just stacked the Thunderzord "assault team" on his back while WhiteTigerzord gets hidden INSIDE of Tor - like you wouldn't even know if WhiteTigerzord was in there or not.

Even though the design is not really that great, you've gotta love a jumbo toy! ;D

HHHMMMM, I'd like to see a picture of that because I'm not sure what you mean...on his back in turtle mode? I'm semi interested in Titanus just so I can have something to stand alongside of tor on the shelf.

I always felt sorry for the Phoenix in that mode.. It's head goes up the Dragons butt. >.< Poor thing. I have fond memories or Tor as he was the first 'base' I owned when I was young. Not found a complete one yet to purchase again though.
