With postage for $30 for 12" figures? nice. One of the few advantages of living in the UK, this stuff doesn't turn up often but when it does there isn't that much competition. I've posted some pics of the Bandai Dyna in the 'Ultraman Toy Guide' thread (in case anyone missed them). Getting back to the 3 3/4" Popy figures, here's a pic of Ultraman 80, front and back, to show the construction. If anyone has more info on these I'd love to hear it. (sorry for the poor quality pic)

Are these made of plastic or diecast?

The thing that throws me off that, is the big screw in the small of his back.

It maybe like the GI Joe Torso screw. It may be PVC.

It's a hard plastic body, softer plastic limbs, pretty much the same as the old Star Wars figures except the body is held together by a screw (like GI Joe).

Who else did you know was made in this size? The figures I've managed to ID are: Ultraman Ultraseven Ultraman Taro Ultraman 80 Ultraman Jonias (from The Ultraman Anime Series) Kamen Rider Super-1 Gamereojin (from Kamen Rider) I've also found this pic, Popy figures and the construction looks the same, but I'm not sure who they are yet. Any ideas?

Just found some more figures, this time from Denjiman. They look to be from the same series and the numbers don't clash with any I already have. I've updated the first post with the info.

That's great! Finally a complete list. Great reviews as well, I'd never have identified General Monster as part of this line without a box. Thanks Josh!

These are pretty hard to find I've got a few of them. Some doubles too if anyone is interested in cool trades. These came out with the Japanese Star Wars figures and were sold side by side. The Star Wars figures came in little boxes just like that.

They are the same construction as Star Wars figures with the addition of the back screw. The Kenner Star Wars figures were actually first released as a part of this line and then Popy added the Japanese heroes. Not pictured are the chameleon villain from Kamen Rider Skyrider, The villain General from Skyrider, and the 3 Sentai Sun Vulcan heroes who were the last 3 released in this line and are not on the list posted above.
The Ultraman heroes were re-released a few years later in boxes with different artwork.
