Great pics, Silver.
Are those the Bandai light and sound Ultras on the left? I have a couple of the Ruishi ones but the quality of yours looks a little better.

I just counted mine and I have six. Is that all of them? Yep. Only six, so far. Again, let's hope that Bandai keep em comin. Nice pics. Did I see you type something like "sell off"? What are you liquidating? PM me with a list. I may be able to help you out.

@ Gort, yes those are Sound and light by Bandai. I am surprised about the overall quality and fun factor these have and <$20 each to boot. I haven't seen the Ruishi's. sketcher Haven't decided yet, but you will be the first to know. LOL They should do a Mebius Ultrachogokin, but I thought I read somewhere that Bandai abandoned the Ultrachogokins due to lack of interest...but then again...I may just have dreamed it. LOL Nexus is my all time favorite Ultraman, then comes Mebius, Clean design, great color scheme. Of course the original is one of the best as well.

...but I thought I read somewhere that Bandai abandoned the Ultrachogokins due to lack of interest...but then again...I may just have dreamed it. Had not heard that, but you may be correct. It has been a year since the Taro was released, although they waited a year between Taro and Nexus. Here we are a year later and no release data. There have been re-releases of the past GD characters, so they must have something in mind. If I could choose the next one, I would make it Leo, then Father. After that, they can scrap the line if they need to. Also, these would be GE series toys at this point, and we have not seen much in that arena so far. Bandai is slacking! ;D Updated with the Arks in the post above. Fitting this between real work, one sentence at a time.

Thanks for the updates Sketcher, good to see the GD series and great to see the Ark's!
Silver, the Ruishi's are similar but I think the quality may be a little better on the Bandai's. I may well pick one up to compare.
I'll try and post a pic of mine tomorrow.

Strange how things work. While putting this together, I stumbled onto the Eidai Grip Leo. I am working hard to score it as I type. I have been searching for some time to acquire this toy. Perhaps some day I'll come across the Takatoku Leo, but this is unlikely as there are only like 4 known to exist. Looking forward to the Riushi pics. I have not seen them in any detail. Those light and sound figures keep popping up, but I always pass them by. Whats the size on these. The articulation looks great. Very similar to the gokins in pose-ability.

Dylan, with exception of the bending at the abdomen and the removal hands, articulation is similar to the Ultrachogokin. Thanks to the battery they do have some weight to them. They about the same height as the Ultrachogokins. You have a pic of the Grip Leo? I read it si one of the rarest Gokins...

Ultraman Zophy and Ultraseven light and sound by Ruishi. These look to me to be similar to the Bandai light and sound figures, but I don't have one for direct comparison. Approx 7" (180mm) tall, ball joints at the shoulders, hips and ankles, also articulated at the neck, elbows, wrists, and knees. Press the button on the back and the colour timer flashes and an undeterminable sound effect is emited for a few seconds. Detail is pretty good, and my only real problem whith them is that the ball joints in the hips and ankles are a little difficult to get to hold a pose. Still, not bad for around $9 + shipping.

Nice, these look pretty close to the Bandai ones. When I get home tonight, I'll try to post similar pics.

Can't beat that price. Thanks for the pic's, Gort. These look nice, and the fact that there is a Zophy/Zoffy is cool.

Hey congrats on the Bandai V3 Ultraman, looking at the photo I'm wondering if he has articulated knees like the earlier versions? Love Kemular, never seen that before

It looks a lot like the Sentai Diecast vintage Action figures. I remember having Machine Man and Changeman. Nice, great haul there, Sketcher!

Heh heh - that Dyna's really cool. One thing I don't understand about the bigger figures is how people have this continual love for non-poseable figures and why they pay out the nose for them (I guess it's like people who collect vintage vinyl figures)... Can someone tell me about the Kyomoto figures that were out a few years back? They retailed for like $100 when they came out... I'm told they were ridiculously huge figures tho - is that all there is to it? People just wanted "Soul of Vinyl?" Ben, What I can't understand is why someone has to knock someone else's interest? I mean so what if they want to collect non-poseable or vintage vinyl? To that person, it's important. Perhaps for my own interest, I wouldn't go that way but that doesn't mean I should put it down. Reason being that there is someone else out there who wants it. And "paying through the nose" is based on a certain point of view. $100 for you might be a lot but perhaps not for the other collector. Or, maybe it is a lot but for that person it is well justified. So, I think it best to just be thankful that there are all types of merchandise for all types of people that make it rewarding to each individual/group. I myself like statues due to the craftsmanship and detail and treat each item (toy/book/statue/etc.) as an art piece Don't hate on it. Regarding your Kyomoto query: I have Ultraseven. I had Ultraman C-Type which I was going to customize. it's not bad. At the the time it was great. But now the sculpting is kind of "soft". They look great in a line up. Just like the "Fierce Legends of Super Robots" by Marmit. But again. If that's what you like, then GREAT. If that's not what you want, then let someone else enjoy it. No need to put that line/type of collector down. They are NOT making you buy it and they are NOT making you "pay through the nose".

Ultraman by Bandai, Tiga, Max and C-Type (too lazy to take out the B-Type) other than that, it's what Bandai have so far for the 12" poseable figure of Ultraman.
