These Ultra-Act figures were on display at the Bandai kiosk at last week's San Diego Comic-Con International 2010: Pictures taken with my crappy cellphone camera!

Ultra Man Belial is the best design, they should let him turn good(ish) and make him the main Ultra.

Swashbucklers / pirates? Pistols and scimitars? Are they running out of ideas? It's not any stranger than when they made Magiranger. Back then they were riding on the Harry Potter trend, now it's One Piece /PotC. There's a second characteristic though, this series' gonna be the Sentai equivalent of Decade, with the heroes traveling the the settings of the 34 previous series. Pics of the robot should surface around wednesday, though we already know a few things about it. The central component's a galleon (ie a pirate ship) with four more classic vehicles (racer, jet, submarine, truck) forming the limbs, and the gimmick's battle mode where cannons come out of various parts of the robot. Then the add-on mechs modify the battle mode and are based on past series. There's Magidragon (Magiranger), which adds wings and claws and the dragon's head on the torso, Patstriker (Dekaranger police car) which adds guns and police lights, and Gaolion, which has the same centaur mode as in Gaoranger but also a second mode where he combines with the main robot into a Shinken-Oh mode. All in all it has the potential to be really cool stuff

Actually, now that you describe the megazord, that sounds pretty damned cool. Especially galleon with canons. Reminds me of a Webdiver toy I always wanted to pick up of a pirate ship.

I don't know where to place this comment topic, so, I'll give it a shot. I stumbled upon this while checking out a Blue SWAT video at Youtube... Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya ("World Ninja War Jiraiya") ...looks to me like some sentai Ninja group, and I've only watched this first episode. I also watched a later episode which shows the young hero fusing with a vehicle giant ninja god samurai known as Jiraishin; Jiraishin only appears in just six episodes of the series. This is the giant Jiraishin (shown here in toy form, courtesy of TBDX)... If you wanna see a glimpse of Jiraishin in action, check out episode #50 (the final episode). The enemy is a sorcerer clan of alien-like element ninjas from around the world. I don't yet know what the main plot is. This wiki describes the series in much better detail... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sekai_Ninja_Sen_JiraiyaAnyway, I think I'll like this series... it's got elements of GoRanger with hi-tech ninjitsu martial arts flavor thrown in. I'll see if I can find the entire series (hopefully English dubbed, or subbed). We hardly ever discuss this episode around here at RJ... ...shame on you guys! zozo-mag

And, then, there's THIS hard-to-find epic series, which I'm dyin to get my hands on... " Tekkouki Mikazuki" (Iron Armored Machine Mikazuki) ------------------------------------------------------ AND, I found some RED BARON episodes! ----------------------------------------- 8 Man (live-action flick, 1992) zozo-mag
