Shin Kamen Rider movie, coming in 2023. Meanwhile, Kamen Rider Black is getting a reboot TV series in 2022. Both very exciting news. I hope they live up to expectations, as both are my favorite classics, yet didn't age very well after all these years. While I am way too old for the current Rider shows, I hope these two supposedly "geared towards older audience" projects would rekindle my love for the franchise, and be something that is actually good that I can recommend to others. Not just lived off of nostalgia alone.

Kamen Rider Black Sun finally got some teaser reveal at Tamashii Nation 2021. While the costume design looks pretty cool and very organic and bug-like, in vein of the old SIC figure and the old manga design to an extend. But a bit unfortunate that the new look doesn't resemble much of how Black looks like in the TV series (the most iconic and recognized look), to a point it can be just any dark gritty looking Kamen Rider without the name being Black. A bit disappointed, even though the design is not a bad one.



Did a little Photoshop tweak using their design. Would have been so much happier if the Black redesign look more like this below.
