yeah a shame it has old style hip joints which sucks I know, right? I remember you saying that Bandai's really taken a step back with their posability these last few releases. Kinda sucks. The last figures I picked up in that scale were the Manga Realization Kakugo no Sasume Zero and Raiden figures. The articulation for those were pretty disappointing. What's really odd is that I think my SIC Ryuki figure is more articulated than the newer stuff....and that figure is like six, seven years old or something. Either way, I guess I'm still pretty excited. I think it's gonna look good on the shelf next to Raiden and Karas. |

SIC OOOs .... its something to consider. I would hate to get one and then fall into the trap of having to get all the possible combinations of OOOs

But very glad that the 10 riders are finally united. Don't mind old joints either. I am very used to the limitations of the old figures (have been collecting since their 1st Kikaider statue release). They are more for the sculpt and design than an action figure you keep messing with. |

Got my sic zx in the mail last week and had a chance to open it this weekend. I gotta say I love it. Design probably ranks among my all time faves of Takeya's sculpts. Articulation is much better than I anticipated and is certainly better than Bandai's MR Zero/Raiden set. I was glad they went with die-cast for the katana. Overall really happy with ZX.

Thats great. Diecast katana sounds like a very nice touch. Glad ZX turn out great.
I was pretty hardcore collecting SIC from the first few years (Kikaiders, Inazuman, early Riders, Black, Akumazer 3, Agito, Faiz, Dunbines, early Damashiis...etc.) But kind of slowly dropped out when many of the new riders took center stage. Can't really get into their shows, so don't have much interest in the figures either. Its not until Stronger & Tackle's release that got me back into it, and got Sky, Super 1 and now waiting for ZX. ZX will probably be one of the last, if not the last SIC I'll be getting, until something else grab my interest again.
If any renewal (all the remake talk in SOC threads), a good remake of the Classic Rider 1 & two would be awesome. They are the only sculpt in the old school 10 Riders that are not up to par (popping loose ball joints, funny proportion, can't seat well on his own bike without dislocating the knees). For the poseable Riders, V3 and up all looks great. The First Movie Realization are good stand-ins for Rider 1 & 2, but they are just not the same (still love the Classic Takeya Rider 1 look). Otherwise, it has been a great ride for me. Love my SIC collection.

I like the changes made to OOOs. the figure looks very menacing, I cetainly wouldnt want to tangle with that guy.

now need to sell off my sh figuarts for these. SIC definitely out done themselves with this line in my book. They look super awesome, I hope none end up being TWEs. cant wait for phoenix and whatever that turtle shell one is. I hope we get some of the baddies too would be nice if we got dual pack ins but doenst appear to be that way oh well
