Your work looks quite professional, great job. I'm simply amazed that you have been able to take the hobby to the point of making a "garage kit"....... Most garage kit producers though don't paint the work when they sell it. I'm looking forward to your end-product

JM, Is that part of a seatbelt, a.k.a. magic clamp ? How many are you making and were you responsible for the Johnnysocco robot?

When a mold is complete, to make a cast, you put the mold together and then fasten mold clamps around it. You don't want the mold falling apart while there's liquid inside.
I'm only making enough Ankoku Daishoguns to fill the orders I get.
Yes, I did make the Johnny Sockko custom a whie back. Sculpted a GR2 head as well, but never made a mold for it.

Tom, Did you find that the Getta 2 was a rare enough toy to warrant the sculpt? I've always though he was cool but he's never been at the top of my list........... Or did you have a need

GR2 = Giant Robo 2, aka "Torozon" in the translated live-action show. I was going to take this head and put it on the body of a Giant Robo figure that I made a while back. Most GR toys use this modular system to get more mileage out of the mold. (the big Marmit vinyl, the Romando action pose kits, etc).
Yes, I am still taking orders for Ankoku Daishoguns. Because they take so much friggin work to make and the materials aren't cheap, I have to charge $400 plus shipping for them, half of which I need up front. Email me at jmachinder@aol.com if interested.

Send us some pictures/ post them when you get a chance. You can always e-mail me directly at admin@robot-japan.com and I'll host the shots.
WE would love to see your wares. I find it pretty uncommon to see Popy Megos. Those sound pretty weird, rare, and interesting.
