Anyone remember seeing the giant Golion/ Voltron from Trendmasters which was almost 2 ft. tall? It separated into the individual lions very similar to the original popy/ godaikin.
I got it because of the novelty of it. Quite good actually with a lot of gimmicks. The only problem I had with it was that it looked somewhat squat.
Well... I've extensively painted mine to match the popy/ godaikin and extended the Black Lion's rear legs (thighs) so that it looks proportioned more like the original robot. Actually, once I combined the lions, its proportions are more close to the original anime! I'll email them in and maybe they can be posted in the gallery for those interested.
I think everyone who's a Golion fan will find them interesting. I'm gonna measure it to see how tall it is (it's now over 2 ft! which puts it into the JM category size i think) and have comparison shots next to my Godaikin Golion.
