Hi - he looks a good 'un... Only one point, if he's sealed, who applied the stickers...? As for values - the SG always seems to realise higher than the Godaikin, and a truly mint one is, as ever, probably going to sell at an anomalous price. As a guide - ToyEast have (had?) an SG01 for $2700. He wasn't perfect though - his box was not perfect, and there were a few rubs and marks on the robot. I'm guessing yours has the full box, outer and inner? There was a guy selling two SGs on ebay a while ago. They looked pretty mint, and I think they went for around $5K the pair. There was a small flurry of sales of SGs and Godaikin T28s a coupla months ago (late summer '04), and they went for anything from $600 for an OOP incomplete figure, up to $3000 for a mint one. My guess on yours - if he's truly MISB and his box is complete and good - would be anywhere between the 2400 - 3000 marks. As there's not been many sales lately, and supply has dried up again, you could be lucky! On the other hand, Christmas is here, and people may be hurting for cash right now... But forget all that - just keep him. It's only money. Meery Christmas, and good luck, Tony

WOW, thanks tony!! Thanks for the info!
Mine is complete with the inner and outer boxes. It shud be MIB, not MISB.
I saw ToyEast one before physically when i am in Hongkong, not very impressed by the exact toy cond though... The price is a bigger put off for the kind of condition he is providing..... He tends to sell stuff much much more ex......
Do you guys think it is reasonable for me to put a starting bid of $4000 for mine? Since it is almost as good as new...
Please advise.... i really wanna to get rid of this before my gal storm it again....

Hi - I'm sure you know this as well as the rest of us....
A $4K start sounds a little high, but it will help to make sure that the potential buyers understand what they're getting into.
That said, you'll get the exposure anyway just because it's a rare and fascinating item.
I always start my auctions low, so personally, I'd start it at 2K, and maybe put a high reserve against it. That gets 'em in, but allows you to keep it if it's not worth selling...
I reckon 4K is achievable, particularly if it sells outside of the US - with the current exchange rate, that makes him just over 2000 UK Pounds, which is pretty fair.
But it's up to you. Try it and see - you might get lucky!

Yea... i know is a bit high... ooopss... abit is a bit too humble... but i dont really wanna to get rid of him... you guys get it.... (i dont wanna it to land up in the state my GodMarz is....)
I mean if i really have to.... yes.... i wanna someone to love it the way i did... the polish it... to gaze it with love... to shower with care.....
so i tot only with the correct prize, my baby is getting a decent lover.....
At the same time, i really dont wanna some clown and share with me a price that we will all laugh over dinner...
God... please pray for me that i get rid of it at 4k.... or my gal find it cute too suddenly...

Hi, thats a nice item you have there. I can sure understand why you would want a GOOD price for it or even better hang on to it. Did you list it yet ? I sold a Godaikin T28 (english box) on Ebay about 4 years ago to a guy in Asia (Singapore or Hong Kong, I can't remember) and I got about $ 2K for it if. The item I had was in Excellent PLUS condition in a Very Good box. Yours is in general better condition than mine was and is in a non english box so i would think the $4K you had in mind isn't out of the question. I have never come across too many of the these kind of items in Australia, although there were some Godaikins and Shogun Warriors ( no Rodan though ) sold here you don't come across too many now - must be the great play value. Now I wish I had hung onto mine , Oh well the things you do when you are pressed for money and you don't really understand what you have. Cheers, Michael
