Hendra Hi Hendra, I don't own a Voltes Jumbo Machinder but I think that it can not be volted out. It can transform into its "tank" mode though.

Man, there are a lot of things I don't know & I haven't seen. Thanks for the illuminating experience... Now, how much is this baby? Where can one get it? Any metal in it? Is this the same Voltes pictured on the '77 No. 4 leaflet that came with the boxed V5s? Looks a lot like it minus some push buttons, metallic look & blue tummy, to name a few...

Any metal in it? ] I don't know how can you get it, I have never seen it being auctioned in Ebay. But the guy who posted the image in the original website said that he bought it for $2000 I wouldn't spend that much money, especially the JM can not be volted in or volted out, it just big!

Oh my gosh!! Thank you for posting the picture! Honestly..I think I would invest that much (instead of going on a vacation) on a jumbo as good looking as Voltes V. Truly it is the BEST looking Jumbo Machinder around. ;D

Ah yes...Voltes.......for a while I had all but given up on finding one, when a fellow collector spotted one hidden in a toy shop in Japan and helped get me in contact with the owner of the shop...anyway, Voltes is expensive for alot of reasons, first off it is from the latter DX releases of Jumbo machinders, when it was produced Popy was starting to scale back the production numbers on the Jumbo machinders (they had problems with producing, storing and transporting these things....i wonder why? ) also the design is just killer, probably one of the best representations of the big guy made, and then you need to take into account the popularity of the character.....and let me tell you $2,000 for a voltes boxed and in that condidtion is cheap, i've seen them sell for nearly twice that in lesser condidtion....

The group shot is from the Bandai museum. There are 2 cases side by side when you go into one area full of JMs with more wrapping around the rest of the room.
