the title says it....
i just won this on ebay.... it is silver (not the chrome look) but silver, it says 11 inches. dunno if this is considered as jumbo(sorry if it is... what size do all of you consider as a jumbo... starting at 9inches?) i dont know how to insert a picture here so i can upload it and much easier to show you.
anyone who knows something about it? im just a newbie, just started collecting 2 weeks ago. although i liked robots since way back in the philippines when i was a kid.

Hey Mannix,
Congratulations on your auction win.
this guy's not a jumbo. He's a limited variation of the standard (regular color version) RAH. The RAH series uses "Combat Joe" (a.k.a. GI Joe) bodies with detailed costumes to represent classic anime, movie, and t.v characters.
The super Robots in the series used some kind of plastic or vinyl pieces to cover the Joe bodies, almost like a suit of armor. I know Medicom released Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, Grandizer, and Getta 1 with at least two limited versions of MZ(the one you're getting plus a transluscent black) and one of G1(mostly white "training version"). PLUS an accessory pack for Mazinger Z (which I'm looking for, by the way).
I'll see if I can post a pic of mine (MZ, GM, Grandy).

WOW!!!! those are huge!!!! how tall are they? is it still possible to get those nowadays? what would be the price range?

Chen: my Grandizer and Great Mazinger are fine it's Z that seems a little shaky (he likes to drop that diaper he's wearing sometimes).
Mannix: I forgot they also made a beautiful Gaiking. The only ones I've seen recently are the variations of Z and G1 and the regular Grandizer. I'm not sure what they're selling dor these days, but I remember Great Mazinger was originally the most expensive (Like $125.00-150.00), and the Gaiking was close to that.

thanks cap, hope i see a few of those on ebay in the future, have to save more money since im planning to buy the voltesV that came out in 1982, i saw on one website for 950 and 40 dollars for shipping, i guess ill try to start with that in my collection since i had it when i was a kid before, and then all this JUMBO!!!! I WANT THEM ALL!!!! lolz!

These RAH have been getting pretty cheap. I've seen MZ sell for as low as $50-60 recently.

Guy in a robot suit / doll in a robot suit, seems far more logical than the anime releases to me  |

I liked the series...i have them all though I sold the chrome one...looking to get one back...but not really a priority now. I think the sculpts are very good...the only difference are shins....a bit short compared to the rest of the body...but still nice!
Yes, gort...they should have made the sentai robots! It would look awesome!!
