Wow, Wingseye- You did much Better than I could've ever done with MSPaint. Great Job! Here's a few of mine with MSPaint; these were done back in the winter of 2002, on my first P2 computer which I had found in the trash- it already had Win98. ( That was also the year I initially got into Computers! <LOL>) I dug these outta my very old cd backups, and touched them up moment ago, after seeing your work. Just click the pics to view 'em full-sized. ;D zozo-Magengar

Wingseye, man, you got it All down to The Science! The shading and metallic shadows all look really awesome in your drawings. I like your Mazingers, and that JEEG is da Joint... ...I can't pick any favorites in particular, I like 'em ALL! @spd: These MS Paint images were drawn with a mouse. The Paint program is really a basic image editing/drawing program that comes with Windows. It's not the Best, but it comes in handy. As for drawing with a mouse, that was one of the hardest things I learned when I started getting into Computers five years ago. Drawing with a mouse aint easy, but once you develop your hand at it you can do a lot with of serious editing and drawing it. Still, I'd rather go back to paper and pen, and just scan the drawing into the computer for touchups in something like Irfanview or Photoshop. ;D Thanks All! zozo-Magengar

Oh, BTW, when using MS Paint- Images can be saved as bitmaps (".bmp"); but depending on the size of the image, bitmaps can result in large files- which is often not good for sharing in webpages due to their large file-size. Bitmaps retain their quality with ever use. Images can also be saved as Jpegs (".jpg"); but then they suffer quality loss each time you open and edit them. They're easier to share in webpages and more manageable to view in any image viewer; compared to bitmaps, these yield smaller file-sizes. Images can also be saved as GIF (".gif") files; these are often used as "sequencial" images for web-based 2D animation purposes. Sometimes gif files only consist of just One image, or more; but these also retain good quality for use on the web, and yield small file-sizes. "Ping" images (".png") are good-quality images, also used for webpages. I prefer using png's as textures against my 3D objects, due to their Transparency capabilities.... this allows them to be pasted as "layers" on top of other images, and on top of 3D objects as well. There are many other image formats, most of them can only be opened with programs which support them. Way too many to list Here, most of which I haven't tried to learn. But, the fun part begins when ya learn how to convert, tweak, and manipulate them across programs. zozo-Magengar
