UPDATE 17 MARCH 07 5:12PM-EST(usa) It is STILL available through bittorrent download www.garada.net/tracker/download.php?action=torrent&info_hash=c9ea152de00f1c4b963f39279a17d4afff39b82e
I'm re-seeding this movie Right Now, by request.
This is my 3D Mazinger-Z tribute fanmovie to the series. It is in English, with Spanish subtitles. The movie is 15:51 minutes long.
Featuring all the robots (Mazinger-Z, Garada-K7, Doburas-M2, and my own designed mecha Colosus-X3) and humans (Koji Kabuto, his lil brother Chiro, Sayaka Yumi and her dad, and Baron Ashura) from the series.
Some soundtracks from the final battle scenes are by Napalm Death ("Just Rewards" and "Dogma"), while the intro/end themes are studio-versions of the series.
Use a bittorrent client program such as uTorrent, BitTornado, Azerus or other, to download and decompress the torrent movie file. Feel free to burn it to dvd, and share with others!
Enjoy!

Click the images to get a closer look. Also, notice the mecha COLOSUS-X3... that mecha was never in the original Mazinger-Z series. It is a mecha of my own design, for added battle-scene excitement to this fanmovie. I used a Japanese 3D CGA modeling/animation program known as "DoGA CGA-L3" (Level 3), available at www.doga.co.jp/englishzozo-Magengar

Thanks! The trailer was just bits-n-pieces from .avi's rendered in the DoGA program (without sound) and I thought Napalm Death's music would provide the perfect high-energy ambience to the trailer. I spent so long making this movie, even I was losing patience, therefore I made the trailer and rushed to get the movie promoted to fans. Besides the animation, I did all the character voices-- everything was 'written' on improv (off the top-of-my-head) and no scripts/storyboards were made. I was anxious to get the project done and released, overall. I didn't have internet service at home then, so I mailed a dvd-copy of the movie to my friend Garada (owner/moderator of so he could upload the movie to share as a torrent file with fans. I have plans to make a sequel to this Mazinger movie (Mazinger-Z: Ashura's Revenge) for which I will do more writing, and add more characters. I also have a Mazinger-related sideproject in future works ahead, "Mazin King Kaiser"... this is my tribute robot bearing the physical and armamental attributes of all three Mazin robots combined. zozo-Magengar

Truly impressive Magengar! You have taken fan appreciation to another level! And thanks for providing the DoGa link. I have always wanted to try a CG animation program.

Thanks, Lonelyboy! The DoGA program is easy to use. It comes in three lessons... Lesson 1 ("L1") is a freebie, and it teaches you the basics of CG animation... it's features include parts for modeling vehicles, animals, mechas, and humans; and comes with a basic 5-color pallet. Lesson 2 ("L2") is a little more advanced with better features and attributes for textures and 55 colors in its attribute pallet. L2 only costs $20 to register and unlock the avi-rendering feature (I'm just a DoGAuser, not a salesman... believe me, when I upgraded to L3, I was floored in jaw-dropping awe at what L3 can do!) With an additional $20, I upgraded to Lesson 3 ("L3") over a year ago. L3 is the "Mazinkaiser" of the three lessons--- it comes with high-resolution textures (still-image, and animated) and more parts for better-looking models, a customizeable color pallet, and greater attributes such as "Anime" styled cellshade and user-custom textures which you can design with background images and avi's. DoGA's sister program, "Metasequoia", allows you to build your own parts for exporting to DoGA through L3's Partfile Converter, which will convert your part to DoGA's native format (".suf"). It was the Best $40 bucks I've ever invested for such a simple CG animation program, compared to the more elite CGA programs costing hundred$$$ such as Lightwave, 3DMax, and Maya among others. The Mazinger movie was my first project with L3- and I still haven't dug beneath the surface of L3, after spending more time tweaking it through modifying the program's configuration files to suit my own developed assortment of animation techniques and tricks. There's also a yahoogroup groups.yahoo.com/group/dogacgaof decicated hardcore DoGAusers sharing and exchanging tips and ideas for our projects... among these are novices and experts alike (animators, graphic artists, game designers, and folks just havin fun with the program). At the current time, we're working on translating the Helpfile for L3 (which only comes in Japanese)- but after using L3, we manage to get the gist of the program and pass along what we learn. At first, I thought I'd give up on it altogether... but since this Mazinger movie, I'm friggin Stoked Happy! *^__^* zozo-Magengar Truly impressive Magengar! You have taken fan appreciation to another level! And thanks for providing the DoGa link. I have always wanted to try a CG animation program.

You're all welcome to save them images for your personal use and viewing pleasures. zozo-Magengar

great news, looking forward to the sequel later in 2007. and nothing to thank for magengar, you put a lot of effort in this just for our pleasure, so it's me paying compliments to you. really appreciate it! me thinks it's the fans that really make the whole thing alive. without forums like RJ and content like your movie, collecting would not be the same for me. guess how unlucky we guys would be without our daily, weekly or at least monthly rendez-vous with the mecha brotherhood on RJ... nope, don't want that. I am addicted to this stuff and to the culture of it; and like Tsurugi not looking for any cure to that and not to forget, the communication on the board is just the way I love it. I am used to forums and message boards for over 16 years now, so I should be able to tell where its fun to be..... here we are gentlemen anyways, thanks for the good news magengar cheers mate
