I don't know... I'd just met him upon browsing the net when I ran into those links with his project images. He's got a lot going on for him these days, busy with other stuff. Perhaps if you drop him a greeting, I'm sure he can answer whatever questions you may have.
We also have members here at RJ who are into customizing Jumbos, and would be glad to help you out.
Much if these projects seem pretty visually self-explanatory, as far as materials used-- A little Math/Science here-n-there, some common sense, and experimental tweakage, and use of imagination all will take you far as you wanna go. May I add, too, that a wide variety of jumbo parts can be interchangeable and modified among jumbos, to suit your your ideas for the jumbo you want.
--Again, recycled plastics and materials are great assets to these custom projects, too.

That Garada is awesome as is the Getta 1. The double barrel shooting hand on Goliath is nasty as well. Were these Jumbos ever for sale? If so, what kind of money was he asking for them?

was it for sale on ebay? I think someone copied off the original, the seller stated the heads were foam, and not plastic !!!

Thanks for reviving this particular thread. Walter has done amazing work with jumbos (I don't know if he's still doing so these days). Jumbos don't get as much love as they deserve, and articles such as this thread topic should be memorialized (stickied) in the Jumbos section of this forum so we can reflect on this topic. zozo-mag

this guy just really gives me new hope....I know these are just show pieces, and would get scratched up if my kids played with them...so I need to find the best of both worlds....I have been working on dublas and even without the heads, my 4 yr old has been running him all over the house...kicking the socks off of Mazinger........when I get the first head done, I want to make a casting of it, maybe get bourno to do it
