i was wondering.... do you have a specific technique when you separate the limbs, arms legs and head on your jumbos, like.... lets say to paint it or to custom some part of it. i dont want to crack open a part when im trying to take one part of the jumbo off. and also, how do you take off the old sticker, the easier way thanks

Separating jumbo limbs: Use a hairdryer (at WARM heat setting) to soften the plastic. Once the plastic is really Really PLYABLE give the limbs a GENTLE twist, the same way you'd separate an average doll's limbs. DO NOT WRESTLE the limb if it won't come loose at first, just keep applying the warm hairdryer's heat, and keep twisting Gently until it finally comes out of its sockets.
You can also immerse that part under running hot water, to soften the plastic. but watch it closely so the water doesn't scald the jumbo to a meltdown.
To re-assemble, use the warm hairdryer again, or running hot water to soften the plastic... ...put the limb back on GENTLY (do NOT Wrestle it) and let the jumbo cool off back to normal.
(I did this for one of my GrtMaz's arms at the shoulders; the rest had already been separated when it arrived in the mail)
To remove the old sticker (IF you're gonna put a NEW one on) soak the jumbo sticker under running hot water, and let the sticker itself fall off. A little bit of Goo-Gone on a rag will also remove the old sticker, but then ya gotta rinse the Goo-Gone from the jumbo right away.

(Almost forgot, perhaps this thread can be moved to the Jumbos or the Custom section where all the other DIY topics are)
