In appreciation in regards to Robot-Japan fundraw

I've just had a new appreciation for the fun draws here.

Its less cliquekish, name calling compared site A and not girl thingyfooting around, of being afraid of hurting each others feelings as site B. I just sent a submission to site B and there and there is no voting system. Not to mention it felt like pulling teeth in getting a drawoff, and the due dates are unbendable.

When I ask why there is no voting the mod just ask me to just name who i think I won. Talk about feeling being put on the spot. I'm sure the mod had good intentions but it still felt like a no win situation. the submission was my Prime drawing. And base on the output that was there, I like mine the best. I just replied I leave it to the mods if the public doesnt vote. If I had a choice to which prime I would vote for it would be this from another board by DorkyFresh but he didn't enter in the contest.

I've loss countful ;D of times here and other sites and I don't mind.
I dont want to mention the name of the site but its easy to sherlock holmes the name of the site and the thread at that site. I still like the site and people there. I'm just more into emphasizing the friendliness and competitive spirit in this board.

I know what you mean.

I was a regular at a couple of different boards that also cater to fanart, and MAN! They'd kill your stuff there just as easy as they'd step on a roach!

You'll be lucky enough to get 1 constructive crit out of 10 comments, the other nine... well, let's just say it could send you home packin.

The Fun-draw's here, the entire "Fanart & Custom Creation" section for that matter is probably one of the best I've seen.

You get the "what you can do better" instead of the " this/that sucks" without being condescending or patronizing. ;D
