Hi everyone, im pretty new here i started checking out the boards a few weeks ago. And as all of you im a big fan of robot toys especialy the 1970 robots wich are my favorites. I have been sculpting for a long time now in my sparetime. im actualy making (GIN GIN) (Golgoth7) (astronef de janus) from the grendizer tv show right now. im sure many of you will recognize him. feed back is very appreciated! thank you!  Here is a early shot.  Some progress on the original sculpt.  These parts have been cast in resin upto now and im hoping to finish the shields by next week.  heres is a size comparison shot with the gx-04  |

Very nice!! That along with Fubu Fubi have always been some of my favorite Grendizer villians.

Great work! I'm curious--do you use any contour templates or calipers? Is the torso shape cast from an existing SOC? Or do you just eyeball it?

Its all eyeballed thats why its not perfect but looks good enough to have on a shelf  heres is a early shot when the clay  and here is another big project i have started long term is to have a huge diorama in my basement to display most of my robot collection.  |

Yes ill let you see the updates and the finished product when done. Also working on this for the High-Dream 10 cm Grendizer.  and also on this 10 cm Jin-Jin as well.    |

ya i just dont always all the time i want to work on them, you know work and then family baby.... but the work is progressing. heres a shot of my 7 inches Gin Gin with a completed shield.  Slowly im getting there. |

You have a good eye for symmetry!
I've also thought about building bases but man...I just don't have the room. Can't wait to see yours, though!

No i didnt i just need to go out and buy the resin and the mold mix for the last part of the shield, been pretty tight in my schedule from 9 to 5 and of course that store is opened only from 9 to 5 pffft...
but dont worry your gonna see the end product.
