Hello People! This is my first ever post on Robot Japan. A great discovery for me, this site is, thanks to OmniExistence. A great fellow hobbyist. I just want to ask if you think Bandai will ever produce an SOC Voltes V. I am a very big fan of this robot and in fact my love for mechs started from its show. Combattler is on the line, I want to believe Voltes V is next. Better if they can include Daimos, it will sort of complete Tadao Nagahama's romance trilogy mechs into the SOC line. Thank you for your two cents!

Hello and welcome! I hear a great deal of speculation about the Voltes V but nothing ever materializes My understanding is that the next SOC to be produced is, strangely enough, the SOC Dancougar!! Yes, the multi mode, multi-animal gray and yellow robot with everyone's favorite Liger (Lion and tiger) -smile-. I DOES look quite cool and you may enjoy browsing this link from Hobby Link Japan where you can pre-order it: www.hlj.com/cgi-perl/hljpage.cgi?BAN911829So far though, no new chogokin Voltes V are in the works ....or Daimos

Thank you very much. perhaps I need to wait further, hope is a good thing. Thanks for the link I have seen it, and although I dont know Dancougar, the toy does seem to strike big time!

Seems to me like SOC is really testing its ability create super stylized combining bots at the moment. With a few more successes, I can't see why they wouldn't do Volts. Personally, I'm holding my breath on some Sentai combiners/transformers!
