This thing looks amazing. I was just wondering if anyone had it and could comment on the quality? To the best of my knowledge, this is the only combining Sould of Chogokin robot out there. How good is this combining element? Is it fun to transform? Are the individual vehicles as cool as they should be? Does the robot hold together well?
Also, where can I buy this guy and how much should I be willing to pay?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Shaxper! I bought the SOC Combattler and have to say it is SUPERB!! You need one The toy is slightly small if you are used to Godaikins but simply amazing when it comes to innovations. The wings fold up, fists are self contained, drills push inside the toy....it is incredible. Most all of the toy is diecast too. I would say that you should shoot for sub $150 prices. Even $180 would be worth it. Maybe you can find it listed wrong and pull one of your Shaxper-Super deals

Heheheh. I already passed on my shaxper super deal unfortunately. Saw the limited edition black one go for $99 and passed, cuz I wanted to know what it was like first. It DOES combine, right? How do the individual vehicles look, and how's the combination? Oh, also, you said it was small. How small is "small"? Thanks for all your help, man

Hey There, yep! It does combine...I know I'm in the minority...but I really think the SOC Combattler was THE BEST piece from the BanDai SOC line. He's BIG...about 10 inches tall, lots of accessories, real rubber treads that roll....looks good...nice and heavy. I highly recommend this for any robot collector.

i have it for sale in my website, i can sell it to you MISB C9+ case fresh box. special price of $160 (w/o paypal fee), $164 (w/ paypal fee). Price already inclusive of 5-7 days Express Mail shipping to anywhere in the world with online tracking. Regarding the toy, in my opinion, its too thin / skinny. Around 8 inches tall. The design is Superb, the claws for the Battle Tank doesn't need to be removed unlike the vintage one. A lot of accesories, the Battle Jet is very small. I favor the Godaikin more than this new one. More accesories, more fun! Bigger has always been better for me Am i discouraging you not to buy ;D Hi Shaxper! I bought the SOC Combattler and have to say it is SUPERB!! According to a source from ToyboxDX BBS, SOC Combattler is due for a re-release in October. Hope Bandai gives him the "R" treatment, like what they did with GX-01R. toyboxst.inwards.com/read.php?f=1&i=70510&t=70510C'mon Bandai, let's see more metal on these suckers! ;D

But the first generation of the Combattler really was great on its own merrits. Myself, I would have preferred a bit beefy-er sculpt so its legs weren't so darned long. It tended to fall over

i have both the black and anime color version. i like the black one bit better, doesn't look thin, and looks rather elegant.

So How concrete is the news about the Combattler V getting a "R" treatment by the end of this year?
Sorry I can't read Japanese!
