Hey folks,
I'd still really like to know if anyone can tell me what years GoDaiKin was produced in America. I know they were around in '84, but how long before, and di they continue after? Ed, I know you have many of the boxes. Do they have dates on them?
I'm nearing completion on my complete history of toy making leading up to The Transformers and really need this ino.
Thanks!

Yaak! I am searching for just such information, and this site comes up in Google! I am also making such a list, can I have a copy of yours? It'd help me a great deal!
PS I know this is not the section for this question, but does anyone know anything at all about Beetra? It is completely not on the internet.
Thanx

In addition, can you tell me what years the original Chogokin toys were released?

YES!!!! Finally a chance to feel useful! 1. Beetras: Suspected to have been the last toyline Takotoku made, though I have not seen this confirmed. Four out of five of them were recycled into the Transformers as "Deluxe Insecticons". This is the only informational link I have on them, but it's quite helpful: www.dutchbot.com/~pretf/beetras.html2. Chogokin: 1974-1983 Oh, and what list did you mean? There's a list of all the GoDaiKin toys in another topic in this discussion. If you mean the dates, stick around and someone will hopefully answer :/ Edit: There's more info for you as a response to your question in the Microman/Diaclone section

The entire server www.dutchbot.com has become inoperable: I can't access it at all! *grinds teeth excessively*

Wow. It was up the other day when I posted the link. I checked the board where the webmaster usually posts and there's no mention of it. If it's not back up by tomorrow, I'll contact him and ask what's up.

Guys, if you want to know about Beetras (or almost anything else Japanese toy related), check the Datafiles at ToyboxDX.

Got an e-mail back from the webmaster. His site is hosted by a friend and their server appears to be down. He's looking into it.

ToyBoxDX? any thing to do with the Company, ToyBox? they had some obscure Pre-TF, too, that hardly anyone knows anything about. Was planning on looking up on them eventually, too.

Toybox only made two of the pre-TFs. They'll be mentioned in the history too, though there isn't much information available on them...anywhere

You got Mech-bot 1?
You lucky dog!!!
Just make sure it's the real thing. There were more Knock offs of Mech-Bot 1 than there were of Shockwaves!
