I don't have much of a collection to choose from, but I'll say Bioman and Biodragon.

I've always wanted a Combatra. Maybe a Godmarz too.

I still have my DX Daimos...somewhere, probably all busted up or rat eaten in our basement. Anywhoo, I would say I love the Daimos DX the best, Tranzer mode especially

If I just cried hard enough when I was a kid, I would have had my Voltes V DX. but I did get a lot of STs. My favorite was Daltanias, had two, destroyed both. Had two Voltes V STs too. I had my brother as accomplice in putting them out of commission.
I am glad I got to know a friend who sold his Daimos DX to me. I had lots of fun playing the same toy when I was a kid. I loved putting in the jet car while humming the Daimos opening theme.
Godaikins Forever!

my vote goes for Voltes V and Combattra.. what makes a toy a classic and a REAL TOY? well its detail, quality, accesories, gimiks, playability and ability to poke any kid's eyes ;D both robots have them, so my vote goes to the 2! Actually Combattra #1 and Voltes V #2! My T28 chokinzoku and my Voltes V.. But..takatoku and bullmark are better..

For some reason, my new obsession is Guardian. Probably cuz my cousing had him as a child (still does somewhere). I know it's certainly not the best, but it's darn cool. I also have this scheme of obtaining six Arbegas members and double stacking them

Six Arbegas? that would be cool.. if you like Gardian, try checking out Baikanfu from the Machine Robo line. Its Guardian with better proportions! =P For some reason, my new obsession is Guardian. I wish for a Voltes DX, loose will be fine even with incomplete accessories, as long as the toy itself is in a very decent condition.
It will easily become my favorite.
a good Daltanias ST or DX too, same condition above.

Hands down: VoltesV is the heavyweight champion for detail. But my favorite is the Daikumaryu gaiking. Every time I look at it, I see that thing about the size of an aircraft carrier or two, and burning through the atmosphere on an attack mission. It's just the most far-fetched spacecraft imaginable. JWM, You don't have any sources on a Daikumaryu DX do you? -sigh- Great toy, often awful price. If you have pictures, we'd love to see them. Thanks! -Ed

I'll send pic's as soon as I'm done writing this. I took some of the posters, but they came out poorly, and now I'm in the middle of moving so it'll be a while before I can try again. Isn't there a SOC issue of this piece? Oh, you'll notice that the mask on mine is gold like the robot, and not yellow. That's because I went out and bought gold spray paint, clear laquer, and black model paint just to do that one tiny piece. It came out ok, too. I know there are purists who hate painting toys, but who cares? The yellow plastic mask looked totally cheap on this otherwise excellent piece. JWM

JWM I am glad I got a kin I like painting my toys, too. Nothing like seeing it beefed up! Either to customize it or simply keep it as accurately as it can to its anime source.
