A major part of a robot's appeal is the look, feel and weight of the diecast; you won't get any of that with this toy. Defeats the purpose if you ask me.

IMO, that korean boot looks really nice and clean.
But for $125 (And I believe the seller expects more from the auction), it is tad too much.
I believe you can find a really nice original Popy or Godaikin Daimos DX if you just wait patiently for it.

I really wonder if the Korean boots are old....I think they are either new or there are alot of them. I tend to like bootlegs only if they are rare and good representations of the toy........OR have a superior uniqueness. For instance I got a boot of a combination Voltron 3, Omega Supreme (I believe), Lion Voltron 1, Home-made battery powered toy. THAT was unique. Also the Korean boot needs to be about $80, not over $100.......  |

I'm with MP.
There's a lot of "real" DX Daimos toys floating around.
Patience is the key. It'll be really worth your while when you get an original.

thanks for all the repies~~ i think this boot daimos looks great, but like JB said, its the whole diecast look and appeal that just cant be replaced~~ i have a facination with daimos, it was my very first chogokin back in 1980. i bought a C6.5-7 one from ebay a couple of months ago with almost no accessories... i thought i was gonna be satified with having just that... i was wrong... i found this one last week and bought it... im anxiously awaiting for its arrival!!! ;D ;D ;D cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3130245049&category=4694&rd=1 |

I have never purchased the Korean bootleg or heard a review about it.  I just know that they began hitting the market about 2 years ago and have trickeled in since then.... |
