Hi im new to this forum and I have a troubling question that i want answered. My Daltanias Godaikin is a little odd Its face is red with white lines instead of BLue andits shoulders are painted white instead of silve not to mention It has no shield marking on the sides compared to the Godaikin Daltanias. Its mostly metal made and instead of 2 silver missiles and 2 red missiles it is all red missiles. Not to mention a few minor details that is different from the godaikin version. Anyways i have a feeling this might be counterfeit and that i threw the box away. It was a present from a cousin in taiwan. Problem i havent ever heard of a Daltanias Diecast that is ever made that is counterfeit. Is this a special old version japanese version of Daltanias or is it a counterfeit or is it just a weird screwed up version? Please answer my question cause i am curious.

Sorry i typed that in a hurry i cant even read it so ill retype it First of all i have this old daltanias DX toy for 8 years. It wasnt until 2 years ago i found out it was a little different than the other Daltanias Dx's i saw in the internet the ones you called Godaikin Brands. Anyways i want to know if this is a counterfeit since this was bought in Taiwan or if this is the Japanese Version or maybe this is just a different looking special Daltanias. Here are some of the things that are different between the one i have and the godaikin ones:First thebox from my memory so maybe im wrong on this had an Artwork or Cartoon Drawing of Daltanias on it while the Godaikin had a photo of the toy itself. Second of all my Daltanias has a red face while the Godaikin Daltanias has a blue face. Third for arms my Daltanias has white shoulders while the Godaikin ones have silver shoulders. Fourth my Daltanias shield looks a little different in deco shield than the othe Daltanias. While the Godaikin Daltanias has this trek marks on the silver sides of the shield mine is plain. And last the 4 huge missiles of my Daltanias sword is all red while the other Daltanias has 2 red missiles and 2 silver ones. I think thats most of the difference. I would have thought mine is fake but it has alot of metal diecast or some metal material and i would have thought it was japanese version but when i saw the japanese version, the Daltanias looks just like the Godaikin except its box was green and it looked kinda newish and stuff with a few minor difference. So i dont know what my Daltanias is a counterfeit or maybe one of the first japanese production toy released since it looks worse than the Godaikin Daltanias i saw. I wish i had a picture of my Daltanias but i dont have a scanner to scan the picture in so im sorry if you r reading this and ur thinking jeez this is such an eyesore. Anyways i want ur guys opinion on what my Daltanias is. Ps I know my Daltanias is not a St im pretty sure it isnt

Hi Dalt22 and welcome to the bbs. I have a feeling you my be speaking of a "Godsphinx" that is very close to the Japanese release. You can barely see it to the left of sunvulcan (box lid down) in this picture: Mine was made in Taiwan, but I thought it was an excellent rendering of the toy. It is in storage now or I would verify the color differences, sorry. -Ed

Sigh thanx for your welcome But i found the box it is neither the Godspinx box but it is a counterfeit made in Taiwan but it is kinda funny though why would you put the toy made in Taiwan in storage? I mean isnt Godspinx toys counterfeit? I dont really mind my toy being counter feit though cause it was actually nicely made with diecast parts compared to some of the crappy brave series counterfeits toys made in taiwan. But my question is its a stupid one and i probably know the answer but is it considered a counterfiet if it is made in Taiwan since it seems that Japan sold Daltanias toy mold to them isnt it just called a copy? Anyways if i get the scanner i will scan the box picture to show you. But im guessing its a counterfeit copy of the Godsphinx daltanias since it says CE No-8220. MADE IN TAIWAN.

i sold one Godaikin Counterfeit a year ago, its green blue box color.. the inner lid is almost d same.. the cover is the whole photo Daltanias, ill try to post photos later. The quality was poor. The foot of the main robot broke in the first transformation! If this helps any- I'll send a couple of pics to admin1. These are of a Godaikin Daltanias purchased in 1984. See how the one you have looks in comparison. Good luck. JWM

I always thought the paintjob of the legitimate daltanious was a little crappy and bootleg like. I have the godaikin version, and I had a smaller bootleg version, that had a full transformation, but i sold it...

You are right on that one. The Dalt. does have the poorest finish of any of the Popy/Goaikin figures that I have. JWM
