Just got my Godaikin Daimos..

Yeah!!
I'm so happy because he is my favorite super robot , voltes v comes second.

However I find that I got spoiled by Voltes V Godaikin. Voltes V has a mechanics are much better that Daimos along with Volt's Diecast content.

I dont like the construction of Daimos legs. The way it doesnt shoot out naturally. Also the fact that his fist can't b included when he changes to transer.

The plus side though is that I found it cool that Daimos can literally take his head off when he is in truck mode. So his truck could steer left and right.

I did find Transer being able to open its back door to let traiber in cool.

I wish the Daimos I won though had no paint chips and his chrome has wear. Any idea what to color/brand to use to pain his chrome and red metal. And could it be done without an airspray?

Do you think its worth getting godaikin combattra or just skip to SOC combattra?

I always wanted a Daimos too, arrrrrghh just made me remember all those junk foods I had to eat just to join a contest to win the toy. Well I guess my luck as a kid have not changed

The Godaikin Combattler doesn't look much like its cartoon version, if looks matter to you a lot, get the SOC version

Daimos is one of my favorite robots of all time. Its cool design speaks for itself. I love this robot so much, that I own four DX version of it. A little crazy you might say. ;D

Go for the SOC Combattra.

As for the Daimos DX, I also have one....somewhere in our storeroom.

I don't like the robot mode, big head, small body, fugly arms. Belch.

I do LOVE the Tranzer mode though ;D

Congrats on scoring the Daimos! for the chrome, check some art supply or hobby stores- I believe you can get a foil-applique that sticks on to simulate chrome.

Daimos is also my favorite. i've got a MIB one complete with even the inner top styrofoam (missing the instruction sheet ) and a C7 one with battle scares.

i tried to touch up the battle scars with my model enamel but found the red to be too light of a shade. i think i will attempt to mix a more deeper red when i get the chance.

How much did all of you buy your Daimoses for? My daimos only came with 2 traiber, two yellow chestplates, 3 yellow shin daggers, One long blade, and one long blade scimitar(u know the one that has a curve with the blade), And some small missiles.

Daimos is one of my favorite super robots in the entire godaikin line.I got mine 2 months ago for $400 and the nice seller in ebay gave it to me with free shipping.I got lucky on that one specially the condition of the toy.My daimos comes 100% complete it just didn't have the instruction sheet.
