Man, that's the first "real" original GoLion I've ever seen! And you've got two of them!! Very nice, as always. You should make a website!

Does your girlfriend/wife have a twin sister? That could make for some interesting pics.

How would you compare this vintage version of Golion to the reissued version by toynami? This is one of the rare occasions I actually like the vintage version. www.toynami.com/voltron.html

Say if someone is going to sell a box like that, what would be a fair price to ask? Just curious. Thanks in advance for any inputs.....

I would say get one and just be prepared to do some touch-ups and keep a screwdriver handy. For some reason the legs are loose. BUT.....all the accessories are there and you won't be disappointed by the work (for the price). It is rough but a copy of the Japanese version. IT may even use the same molds.

Thanks for the info, I actually had the Japanese one in the photo that my mom purchased for me back in I think 86 . Even back then it was around $80.00-100.00, to bad it's in some garbage dump now poisoning the earth How about the GoDaikin version? The Lionbot (Korean or Taiwan ) bootleg in itself has different variation of quality. They have some that on par with GoLion Japan and some that is so bad, it is not even worth $10. Especially many of the ones sold in the US, many of them had a visit with the safety boards and the springs were cut ala Matchbox Voltron in the late 80's. My first Lionbot was a in the mid 80's, I think my mom paid ~$60 for it then which made for an expensive toy. Lionbot then started popping up in some selected Flea Markets and swap meets for ~$25. eBay has a seller consistently selling it for $49.97 (BIN). The Toynami looks like crap for $200 I think I will avoid this incarnation, by the way is any surprised that the Toynami is crap? ;D ;D ;D
