Does anyone else have this problem? That the shins of their Chogokin Evangelion split at the bottom. I have this problem with my GX-15 Eva Unit 02. If anyone else has this problem, can they talk a bit about it and state whether it affects playability? If I play with the GX-15 too much will the shins split apart entirely?

I have all four Eva's with the two new ones coming in the mail. The four I have now all have a slight fitting problem at the bottom of the shins. So far there are no problems with them seperating, but they have been mostly on display and not played with much. I don't forsee any problems with them seperating, there just more of an dissapointment because of Bandai's usually high quality control.

I'm with Chen, I have all six and they have some issue with a split here and there, but compared to other SOC's it is about on par. Like Chen said, usual Bandai QA. I thought at first that it may have been a loose screw, but that turned out to be false.

It's a minor QC flaw on some, but barely noticeable on any of the four that I have. It's funny- the Unit 02 has been the most complained about Eva in the series: color, joints, splits... on mine the hose wouldn't stay on the power plug... Just like Asuka, if you ask me. Coincidence or conspiracy? JWM

I have a vote in for GX-14 Unit 01 Test Type!

I would put in a vote, but I only have the GX-15 Eva-02.
But going by appearance, I would say the shiney Eva-04.
