We need a drool smiley for something like this.
Raideen looks so majestic in black.

Sigh... Glad you won it! Sucks that I couldn't go for it at this time. Its a very rare piece. Theres some more background to it in my upcoming raideen article.... I also won a black raideen this week, but mine is a little odder... Popy PEACE PHANTOM pewter raideen... Oh Yeah, JB - that black one I think is remold of the ORIGINAL, not the R version, so it should be a tad smaller than your gold version.

Once again, JB redlines the envy meter. I'm looking forward to the Raideen family portrait. JWM

The Dark Pope has arrived. The red felt insert compliments the elegantly designed box.

...you know, I forgot to ask:
Where can I find one of these and how much will it cost me?
Thanks in advance.

I paid $200 + shipping for my commemorative one thru ebay; they are truly rare, though an original Black Raideen popped up on ebay recently and went for (a cheap) $735.

-sigh-
Yep. I kind of worried about the description on the ebay toy. C-8 condition ..... It might have been worth it, but I have found C8 condition to mean well used and with problems.
How does your black Raideen compare to the original toy? Are the stickers the same?

The commemerative has no stickers; the original has gold trim (as seen in The Chogokin version), whereas the commemerative has none. Also, the area on Raideen's head where his pilot Akira "fades in" to is black on the original and clear on the commemerative.
