Hello, I'm Robert and First of all I want to say that this boards are great! The one I visit the most on daily basis it’s the Soul of Chogokin one. I start my collection a few years ago with the gx-07, then gx-11, gx17, gx-22, last week I received my gx-01r and right now I’m waiting for Garada from HLJ. My first post needs to be here on the chogokin / shogun warriors boards. Long time ago I found an Italian toy page with a buy, sell, trade section. On it I saw this picture that really brought great memories from my childhood. Someone please help me identify the second (from left to right) robot. I swear I had this when I was a kid, but now I don’t know who he is, who made it, it’s a Japanese toy?, or Taiwan or HK made?. Please if you can give some links, or post pics, with more info etc. I will gladly appreciate it. Thank You!

Hi, its an Italian made Polistil UFObot. I believe that there were 4 different versions, but I don't know if they even had individual names. They are short but have very heavy diecast content (feels heavier than most larger figures!!). I recently acquired 2 from a lot that are in poor shape that I was going to list on ebay.

Thanks for helping out, KingboyD! I really appreciate the help. Wow, I'm surprised to hear Italy create vintage diecast robots! I'm well documented about the italian micronauts magnemos, but this is a suprise. Is this Polistil a well known toymaker? I know he's not the most good looking guy around, but somehow he has a charm in the details, the grey (or silver) and red colors combination and his evil face. I've always wonder if he belongs to the Gaiking anime (look at his chest) or is one of his enemies, more probably due to his appearance. The 2 'bots you have comes at least complete with their original fists? Tell me when you will list them on ebay to see if i'm interested thanks once again for the assist.

admin1 Thank You for your warm welcome! Every time I’m here it’s great fun and an educative experience. ;D Yes, this robot is one of those missing links for me, I know I had it, but now I got no clue what happen to it. And I really want one now. Knowing it has other versions - thanks to KingboyD, probably will want those too. Add the mattel shogun warriors, then the popys, well you name them, this will become addictive!
