Hi everyone. This is my first time posting here and I was curios about the overall opinion on "knock-off" bots. I've been collecting for about a year and own many of the most popular Godaikins to include Gardian. Recently, I took a chance on a $35 Gardian knock-off known as Protector and man am I glad I did. It's absolutely awesome and I can't tell any quality difference between it and my original Gardian. Do Knock-Offs have a bad rap or was I just lucky in this purchase?

I have it too and am quite pleased. I also have the daltanias knockoff, godsigma, lionbot and godmars. I must say though that the godmars knockoff "godtron" is a much lower quality than the godmars but stil a good deal if you can get it for under $75.00. I also have two other versions of the gaurdian knockoff, made in different colors and heads.

I find that knockoffs have a very large range of quality. That and chrome parts just aren't the same.
If you buy a k/o right, you can't go wrong for the money.
Also keep in mind that the voltron/Lionbot knockoff often has bad chrome and loose parts. I found quite a few with lion legs falling off.
