I take it you mean the big DX? The one that breaks apart?
They are very expensive, and I think there's nothing we can do about it!
The smaller DX, the transforming but non-detachable one is much more affordable, regularly selling for under $200, and is still a very nice toy. With some lovely spring-assisted transformations...

It's really hard to say whether or not any given vintage toy is "worth it" when the price begins to get high. I got mine for around 30,000 yen on Yahoo Japan. It was complete except for most of the missiles. If you want a c9/10 sample then be prepared to pay. As far as collectibility goes, Bid Dai X has at least the following going for him: - He's big, complex and full of diecast. Without a doubt, he's got more metal than just about most of the other Takatoku DX sets combined! - He's a rather obscure character from a show that no one cares about from a manufacturer that went bust years ago. There's virtually no chance that he will be re-issued or get the SOC treatment. - He looks damn cool. Some shots of mine.

Inwards: how do you compare it against dx godaikins or other stuff of the same standard? For me it seems to be one of the biggest chogokin robot toys with better quality and i like the look of it. is it one of the best robots ever made?

Big Dai X, like most everything else from Takatoku's Z-Character line, doesn't quite measure up to the kind of quality that you may be used to from Bandai/Popy stuff of the same era. And unlike most Popy stuff, you'll need to add and remove pieces between transformation modes. While BDX is certainly one of the nicest diecast robots that Takatoku ever made, I wouldn't go so far as to call it one of the best robot toys anyone has ever made. This isn't a great shot, but hopefull it will give you some idea of the scale:
