I stumbled upon this if anyone is interested. Japan is making a live action Tetsujin 28 (Gigantor) movie. You can see the trailer for the movie and they even have a downloadable paper model of Tetsujin (look in Downloadand then Papercraft). www.tetsujin28.jp/

Yowwwww!!!!!! This could well be the all time corniest movie of all time. I can't wait. ;D ;D ;D Oh, and Miyazaki is doing a new film as well. I can't wait. JWM

I'd buy it. I think that it would be good for kids and inspire the next generation of adult diecast collectors.

The trailer for the movie looks a bit corny indeed, but I'd still love to watch it. Anytime big robots are on the big screen, I'll be there. As someone else mentioned, I hope it increases interest in Tetsujin and any of the other die-cast robots of the past.
