Here's a question for those of you who closely follow the vintage toy market. What effect does the release of SOC issues have on their vintage counterparts? When they issued the GX-03, did the price of the old Popy, or Godaikin Combattler go up or down? Same for the Daikumaryu GX-05 version. Did the Popy one get more or less expensive? I'm wondering if the price on a vintage Voltes V will drop with the release of the new version. JWM

in my opinion, its more of a matter of size and diecast weight..
Combattler vintage is big and heavy, GX-03 is small and light, so Combattler DX's price didn't go down..
Dancougar GX-13 is big heavy and very nice, the vintage is light and small compared to GX-13, the vintage's price crashed..
for GX-05 Daikyumaryu and Gaiking, the vintage one's price wont crash because that toy dissapeared from the face of the earth ^_^

I think the value of the vintage will not go down because of the new realesed products! I think any vintage collector doesn't compare new/old. I am a vintage collector, but if I have not a vintage Zambot DX, also if I could buy a new zambot GX-23 I will not buy this one in substitution of the vintage.... heart is heart, look is look ;-)))))))))
