Including Dunbine in bandai's Super Imaginative Chogokin line is a perfect idea. While I would love to see the anime version in lavander diecast as some future SOC, due to the biomechanical nature of the aura battler SIC style is perfect!

For so long we have salivated over reimagined aura battlers in magazines like Hyper Hobby, Hobby Japan, SMH, and most recently DDD (anyone catch the dunbine issue?Whoah!).

Now we can all have a badass reimagined, hyper detailed bug machine.

The concept of these machines has always captivated my imagination. The fact that they don't even know what the fuq they are! They dig em out of the earth of byston well after they have been teleported from who knows where.
So awsome.

Brothers and sisters! I call upon you to help Mechadevil pump this thread with as many pictures and data on this upcoming toy as y'all can muster!

I've had the Lord of Byston Well Dunbine pre-ordered for a while after seeing the pics at toysdaily. The original design is neat and all and would fit well within the retro stylings of the SOC line, but I'm one for slick redesigns, and this SIC-esque Dunbine is absolutely beautiful.

The LoBW line is one I'll follow closely. Look for the second release in the line, the Virunvee (http://mahq.net/mecha/dunbine/dunbine/virunvee.htm), in December. From the dated pic at mahq, I'm a little disappointed with the choice; I personally wanted a Zwarth. Still, I'll wait for prototype pics to pass judgment on it.

EDIT: And yeah, that Odin is really awesome; my jaw dropped when I first saw it. Too bad it's just a custom done for a magazine, but if Bandai gets enough positive feedback from it, there is a good chance it'll show up sometime down the S.I.C. line. It'd probably end up being my first S.I.C. if that's the case.
