i just saw a takara diaclone grb go for 1220 usd! amazing! it is true it was really flawless! but more than 1200 usd!
i got mine without box missing some acessories but in very good condition for 120.
and i must say that it was the one robot that i had very high expectations and didn´t live up to them. even though it was cheap.

Yeah - I saw that one!
And I'm with you....It's not all THAT impressive. More like a Good Robot Base.
I'm amazed that one went for that much - more than the similar condition Fort X which is a far better toy IMHO.
I used to have three GRBs, but some judicious trading left me with one good (not mint) boxed one and $150.

i really wanted the X fort but it was dificult to find so when i saw the grb i got it to know what to expect from the x. but after seeing the grb the x was erased from my most wanted robot list!

I was a little underwhelmed by the GRB as well. But the Fortress X is about the damn coolest toy out there.. the elevator system running throughout its body is the sickest feature I've ever seen on a toy.
Plus its got DIECAST.
