I have 2 Godaikin Voltes V. The vehicles are not exactly identical. They have slightly different stickers and paint. Is it normal or is it an indication that the content of one of the Godaikin box has been swapped with another toy from a different box?

I've seen sticker variations between old Japanese releases and then the Godaikins. Like with cars, there were certian varaiations in production.

My thought was that some early Godaikins were old leftover Japanese stock. Then the factory, as I understand things, cranked up production again for continuing Godaikins. So it is plausable that there were sticker variations among Godaikins.........
For Voltes V I would vote for part swapping since the first production was around 1977.

After doing some research, I think I can safely say that Bandai just slapped whatever stickers available for them during manufacturing process. So, it is normal to see variations from the same box.
In fact, take a look at your Godaikin Voltes V box. They have a picture with all the vehicles and accessories line up. Pay VERY CLOSE attention and use magnifying glass if necessarry. I bet you wil see subtle difference. For example, the Volt Bomber booster in the portrait on the box is white, while the one in the box is most likely red. They also have inconsistency in the Godaikin manual. One pic has Volt bomber with red arm, while the other one has yellow arms. They also have disclaimer on the box that said: Product and color may vary from the picture shown.
