Well i was thinking on buying one of this beauty but i don't know, i need your advices, i want the great mazinger, i'm a huge fan of gureto majingo, is it worth to expend more than $600 on this?

Ok, I'll give it a shot. First of all, just to clarify, we are talking about a Great Mazinger and not Mazinger Z. With Great Mazinger there is a lot of different versions that have variations like how much the knees bend and what the scrander looks like. Even in immaculate condition w/box from Japan I think $600 is too much. In great condition and an early version, I would say $400 at the most, as just an estimate.
Here's a couple of things to looks for in early editions. Metallic decals on the knees and a decal on the belt area below the waist decal. Also looks for a total of four fists and four swords, not two of each. A three piece scrander that has a yellow center piece, and fairly articulated knees.
edit - uh, hope you didn't read this already, should make sense now.. My wires were getting crossed while thinking of multiple Mazingers at the same time..or something..
