That's a tough one. It's fairly expensive, but assuming that it's complete w/ all accessories and in the condition stated w/box etc, you might not be able to find one in better condition, so... I think it's too expensive, like $150-$200 too much, but it might be worth it to you?

Based on the description it doesn't actually sound too out of the question for the DX. However I'd like to see more pictures before bidding. the condition in the current 2 pictures shows the piece to be in very good shape. Small blemish on the red of the left side of the chest.

It's high. Considering you are buying from eBay, you save the fees buying from Yahoo Japan, easily $40-$50. However, I would ask for pictures of the back before buying. The wings tend to crack near the hinges on its back. The styrofoam box seems to be in bad shape. Also, it's supposed to come with more than 3 missiles and there's no mention about the mini-catelogue.

Thanx guys. How does Yahoo Japan works? Is it like a shopping or auction Yahoo? How do they deal with transaction? And of course I would assume that you need to know some Japanese too...

This has been posted on ebay for awhile. To me the price seems reasonable enough. This was one of the very vintage pieces I bought initially when I was starting the hobby i got RIPPED OFF pretty badly, paying triple that price form a prick named Steve Agin still has a a store to date called Agin Toys or something. I can't forget that reeaally awful transaction, guys beware of Steve Agin he's still in the business of ripping people off to date! I think he has a website now.

$499 is way too high for this toy. Current on-going price on YJ is $350 for a very good condition with no broken or missing parts and box around C8. page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n3581949635,000 yen is about $300 USD. This might go about 40,000 + yen ending price if anyone ever place bid on it. For vintage toys, don't jump the gun too fast, there's always someone willing to sell theirs, just wait and you'll find one that's in a good reasonable price with good condition.

changetter123: Yup that's the guy. He would seem nice enough initially but if you don't know the prices of stuff forget it he'll rob you blind I guess its "buyers beware" He preys on newbies as I was when I 1st started this hobby. on top of this he also ripped me off by selling me a DX diamos loose with no accessories and for $500.00US even today I could've gotten one MIB for less than that! he's a b@stard! These were very expensive lessons. Nonetheless live and learn right? I just hope newbies have a chance to be aware of how this person operates before they decide on buying from him. Or at least shop around

LurkerX, I know exactly how you feel, I've also bought some toys that the price is outrageous, paying double sometimes more. I guess that's the stage most of us been through. Yup, it's painful and expensive lessons like you said and am glad that we grew out of it.
We really have to shop around these days, I think if it's $10, $20 more it's fine with me but not some ridiculous price. It's good thing that we have internet and place like here so we can come here and ask someone about the pricing if you're not sure. ;D
