Hello, does anyone have parts for sale for this guy??? I found mine from when I was a kid in my parents basement and I am thinking about fixing him up. I know these are hard to come by now but I was wondering if anyone had any leads or decent replacement stuff?? Hands, Axe, roboboys, etc? I am selling some other Godaikin stuff on Ebay I have come across, but this robot was always special to me. Thanks Steve:)

I can't think of anyone specific. BUT... what's always a good idea, in this case, is to buy OTHER T-28s (i know, an expensive and difficult proposition) that are severely damaged, but have some of the parts you're looking for, and sell off on eBay the parts you don't need. With the market how it is, you'll probably get pretty close to what you paid for it in the 1st place. Try yahoo japan auctions, i've never done it but it is the best place to find a lot of this stuff. I did this in 2002 with a GI JOE Defiant spaceshuttle complex, and it took about 6-7 months, but eventually, i had a complete with no broken parts, box, everything, and pretty damn minty, for under $100.
Its sounds ridiculous, but you know, you do see chogokin/godaikin things in parts come around once in a while. Your best bet, at least cash wise, is to look for big "lots" of junky toys- transformers & gobots are a start- and check the pics out for huge broken toy lots, for real cheap (your wallet can decide what cheap is) and sometimes you'll find a gokin part or two, a fist here and there. Check the photos very well, sometimes people have a golden toy in the big pile of broken things, or that AXE or FIST you need in in other toy line's Missiles & Fists.
I've found that, due to their size and strangeness, most Chogokin parts fall under three catagories on eBay (but they could be anywhere too!): VOLTRON, SHOGUN WARRIORS if the person can kinda figure it out, or TRANSFORMERS.
I work for an eBay store where we get 1000s of toys each week, 99% vintage stuff, and i post links sometimes on the RJ Forum to help people out when we get cool, rarer things... so keep an eye out in this section over time.

Thanks for all of the help. I will see what I can find. I collect a bunch of toys but I have just gotten into robots. My Tetsujin 28 was a very early xmas present from back in the day so it is both of course a cool collection piece and a very sentimental item too.. It is just a shame how breakable the hands are... I think they were trashed the very day I got him.. ha.. Delicate frobo fists kids can shoot? I know what happens.
Steve:)
