That is good news. I wasn't sure or not about him only because it looked like there was the same carpet in several of his pictures, but I'm glad they kicked his butt out of there. How could any robot collector/seller just now be starting a new Ebay account??? Zero feedback and high dollar items = "do not bid"! Ebay should give instructions like that to everyone who is newly registered. Oh well, the jerk off is gone.

I think ebay should do that so everyone will buy safe there. There has been numerous report incident of SCAM AUCTIONS recently. It should be everyone's responsibility to report ebay when u do see a suspicious auctions so people will not fall victom of it. Also an auction PRICE to good to be true most time might be a scam. Thta just my 2 cents By the way, who was the winning bidder on the DX GOLION? Anyone here on this board? Bryan

Yep, the winning bidder on the Golion was I.
Anyway, to save from typing it all again, here is a copy of my reply to a recent PM I received here on RJ regarding the whole situation:
"I had been wondering what to do, considering I was the winning bidder on the Golion auction. Fortunately for me, his account was suspended before I was able to pay him, so I am spared the hassle and grief of being scammed.
I did message him asking for additional pictures and he provided it with his username written on paper included in the picture. So I think he has at least some of the things he was selling, but he apparently took some of the other pictures from elsewhere, and that is what got him booted from eBay.
Well, my original thought on the matter was, "yeah, he has zero feedback, and he's selling a lot of rare expensive stuff, but if I pay through Paypal by using my credit card, I will be able to reclaim it if he doesn't follow through". So that's why I bid anyway. But I am glad this is settled and I am not burned. Though, I really wanted that Golion.
I hope that no one else, particularly RJ'ers here, got robbed if they already paid and he is indeed a dishonest seller.
But thanks for your concern on the matter. I have been gathering my thoughts since this began, as this would have been my biggest robo purchase ever. Ideally, it would have been nice if it were all legit, but at this point, apparently it isn't so."
... So beside the fact that I will not be able to purchase the first version Golion, at least I hadn't paid him yet and I will not be burned. Once again, I wish the same for any other winning bidders of his auctions.

QUOTE: "PAYPAL ONLY FOR NORTH AMERICA USER" That just my 2 cents Bryan i think its the same guy too but hard to tell... i had originally coresponded with savedla on some items he had on ebay a month ago. he tried to charge ebayers 5% for using paypal. i promptly withdrew my auction on his item. he says in his email to me that he is an honest guy so he wanted to tell people that was bidding on his items to contact him first. what for? so he can tell you he will charge you for using paypal. honest guy uh? riiiiiiiiiightt, i dont know how he is honest when he knowingly and illegally charges ebayers a service charge which is illegal. maybe the only "honest" thing is that he is telling you hes gonna do it to you? btw, this guys yahoo mail came from hk, so hes another one of those bad HK venders.

I don't know if you guys are still following this, but apparently Mysoho7 has been reinstated and is seeking payments for unpaid items won before he was suspended.
So far, he now has positive feedback from 3 different buyers who say they received their items and that they are satisfied with their transactions. And he did send me another photo of the Golion with his name and email address hand written on paper placed on top of the box.
So what should I think about this? Any input would be appreciated.

Can you post the picture online? I would like to see if that photo has been worked on.

Sure. I was prepared to see something questionable in the pic too, but it really does look authentic. The box is positioned differently than in the auction pics. The photo appears to have been taken from a slightly different perspective, the paper does not look super-imposed, and it looks like it is the same version Golion. What do you think? Did this guy just get off to a bad start? If so, why would he have used dx-chogokin-king's other photos? Also, under what conditions was he reinstated on eBay? I have no understanding of that process.

That looks pretty believable. However, I would ask for more pictures of the box esp. the robots. Sounds lots of work for him but that would certainly proof his creditability as well as protecting yourself as a buyer.

I am not trying to be an a-hole, just my honest opinion...
If you think an auction is too good to be true, flaky seller, questionable shipping, WHATEVER, these should all be taken into account before the bid. EBay bids are binding contracts, otherwise all hell breaks loose. I think you should pay the guy. If the darn thing does not show up, let eBay/Paypal/your credit card deal with it. All these second guessing is really a big waste of time.
I've been burned before. I even paid the guy with WesternUnion money order. But I won the item at fraction of the going rate and it was a calculated risk. So Rex, be a man, do the right thing, and good luck with the toy...

I hear ya man. I placed my bid before knowing of the whole issue with the other borrowed pics, so obviously the mood was completely different at the time. But you're right, it really doesn't make any difference in the end. I'll keep you guys posted and let you know the turn out. Hopefully when all is said and done, I'll post some pics of the toy here. I'd probably say it's my personal Holy Grail of Chogokins, so I'm really praying it comes through. For now I'm going to do what I feel is right, and keep an optimistic outlook on the outcome.
