I see only two replys. Is there an interest in more robocon pics? -Or has this area of collectors died out?

LOL!!! CD's? This toy is from 1977. Those, my friend, are phonograph records. The toy came with three. The red one (in the toy) had Robocon sining his theme song on one side, and a little speech on the other. The blue and yellow records have a series of short sayings on both sides. The talking mechanism still works, too. Well, actually it will work when I get off my lazy butt to take it apart and fix a loose wire. I last had it working about five years ago, but I was stupid, and didn't secure the wire well enough. When it got packed away the wire came loose again.

OMG! Roboriki! JWM, do you own this one? I had that mint in box until he was stolen from me. I long for the day we are re-united. I found him in a toy store down the street from my dad's workplace. I was bored and wandered up the street to discover the shop that had many Robocon toys on the shelf. He jumped into my hands and I instantly was smitten. I ran up the street and begged my dad to kick the funds needed to purchase this toy I "had to have!" Needless to say, I scored that day. He still haunts my dreams of toys that must be replaced. I found one recently but they wanted 3 hundred dollars to aquire. Ouch! Hang on to yours. Roboriki is one of the best Robocon pieces!
