Just want to get some info, I am looking to purchase a godaikin bioman dx in mint condition (box is a bit beat). I am wondering if any of you guys can give me a possible dollar amount that I should pay for. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Ronin

I have observed the Godiakin versoin NM around C8.5-9.5 condition at around $300 tops. The Japanese boxed version is around $400 in that condition range.

Well I got my Godaikin Bioman DX today. Paid $250 for it, shipped. Like I said the box is kinda beat up but the toy is in very very good shape. You can tell the toy was never played with and the accessories are like new. I think I got a good deal on this one. What do you guys think?

You did well. I think an auction just ended with the sales price over $350 Ed Thanks Ed. I think so too, the guy actually had an auction in Ebay but we talked and he was in a real hurry to sell coz he needed the money and I made my $250 offer. He couldn't add the buy it now option so we just did the person to person deal. At least that way he didnt have to pay the ebay fees so both of us are happy. The toy was a little smaller than I thought. For some reason I seem to remember that this guy was as big as Voltes V or Gardian. But now I remember. ;D I'm trying to complete the Godaikin series, well at least the DX versions (except Daidenjin which only came in one version). The only one that would be very hard to get without robbing a bank would be the Godaikin T28.

The Bioman DX is the one Godaikin I always wanted. I missed out on getting one in the '80's. I can't wait to see an SOC version with improved articulation and a lower price (I hope) than what the originals are going for...even though it's hard to beat the original in terms of nostalgia.

A dead mint Godaikin Bioman just went for £204 on ebay from a UK seller (which is the same as what I paid for my similar conditioned one last year). Most of these things (godaikins and vintage Jap toys) are really rare in the UK, so they go for that little bit more seeing as we don't then have to pay huge import tax, postage and insurance prices....
