I might as well put these all in one thread. Another Godaikin question from me. I recently have had an "itch" to get most if not all the DX Godaikins. I already have Voltes V, Gardian, Daidenjin (small but I had no choice, it was the only one released) and Bioman. I have a Combattra, Goggle V, Sun Vulcan and a Godmarz (all MIB except Combatrra, still not 100% sure on the condition but looks great in the pics) on the way. I want to know what a fair price would be for a DX Dynaman, Daltanias and Godsigma would be. Inputs, once again, would be greatly appreciated. Also, was Changeman part of the Godaikin series (I didn't think so but correct me if I'm wrong)? Was it also diecast?
Thanks.

Hi again ronin777,well as you probably already know, the prices of Godaikins (especially on E-bay) vary depending on who is bidding, from where and how desperate they are to get them, most of the time they usually sell for roughly the same price, but is is good to be patient and 'Shop around' as 99% of all Godaikins always get put on sale on a regular basis so waiting may get you a much better price. From my experience here are the average of the ones you asked about:(all DX version with box) -Dynaman: average $200 and up -Daltanious:$200-$400 and sometimes more (very common Godaikin but very popular so prices can go up ) -Godsigma:$300 and more -Changeman: it is part of the Godaikin range, but came out later in different style box, like Dancouga,a late and one of the last released Godaikin, came out in 1985):$200-$350 it is not easy to find one MIB (a bit like Daileon which rarely comes up on E-bay) And yes, it is Die-cast (the feet, waist and chest) Once again these are just estimates and averages Hope this helps

Ronin, The Daidenjin is actually a DX regardless of it's smaller size.

I am adding another question here, how about the DX Lazerion, the one that came with the armor. How much would that be worth now? Thanks in advance again for you guys/gals that can help.

I actually have a Changerobo I'd be willing to sell. Complete in box (might be missing instructions, I'd have to check), and in excellent condition; the only thing I could fault it on is that the stickers weren't applied very well, but a little time and some glue could certainly fix that. PM me if you're interested, ronin!

Hi Ronin, The DX Laserion is not worth that much as it's one of the 'Less Liked' Godaikin.I would say $100-$150. I'm not sure what armor you are referring to though. For the Japanese version, they released an Armor for it that you could put on the bot,it has pieces that clip onto the shoulders (kinda like shoulder pads),lower arms, chest,a sorta helmet for the head etc...(it was sold both separately and as a 'Dual-set' with Laserion). It never came out in the U.S though. Personnaly,I like Laserion, for a start,he was one of the first Godaikin I owned, and I think it looks really great, the transforming feature is very different, the idea of being able to completely 'flatten' the bot it is unique,I cannot think of any other transforming toys that can do that.Sure, it's more of a gimmick than anything, but at least it's original. Anyway, hope this helps Here is one I prepared earlier with both my Laserions

Ayakoholic - pm'd you my friend.
Kinzoku - one again mucho thanks to you my friend. The one that I was looking into looked like a Japanese set with the armor add ons included, I was thinking around $200 USD but let me know if you think that is decent.

More than decent, it's a great deal if it has the extra armour set go for it .But check for sure, the armour set comes in a separate box to the Laserion and the 2 boxes are packed together in a kinda bigger box.If you're thinking about the one in the Philippines (on e-bay) that's not it,it's just the normal version,no armour.

I found my full-size DX Dynaman in an antique mall here in St. Louis for 20 bucks. It remains one of the only truly great finds of my collecting career. Interestingly, that same day I found a jumbo machinder Golion (well, you know, the LJN Voltron, but whatever) at a garage sale for a few bucks. Karma.

Did anyone else by chance get one in the US or in LA? this one i distinctly remember cuz it was one of the last godaikins/chogokins found in the US toy market... Japanese boxed too... but then again, my memories fail me sometimes...

I guess I should have asked for more, then... how much are you asking for it? if you mind posting the amount, you can PM me instread. IMO, the instruction manuel and catalog with unapplied stickers will be worth some what more than one that does not have the booklets and sticker.
