Sounds a little high. If it's been there a while, it's likely over-priced.

Yeah, I agree. Sounds high, especially if its incomplete.

It would be nice to have a price guild for it seems that alot of people ask how much for this or that and I know that the price depends on how much you are goin to pay... I think I remeber at cool Japanese toys some sort of price guild but that was a while ago not sure if its still there...

I think there was already a thread about this previously.
[IMO] I'd go for that its certainly alot less than what I paid for mine years ago.

Welcome to the BBS Whatj !
I've found price guides are not good for such detailed, often flawed, items like our diecast toys. We have so few perfect toys with perfect boxes, so there really is no right price. How much should prices drop for missing parts? -That is a personal question.
Tom Frank (old CJT owner) and I talked about price guides ages ago. We didn't want to create speculative buying based on "stock prices" of these toys. Pay what you want for what you like. We felt like there would always be disagreement since few similar toys hit public auctions.
Members here will always help you get the right "range of prices."
For instance on your Dan DX, I have seen prices from $400 complete with a battered box all the way up to $1000. For the price to get up there, you need perfection and an incredible box with no factory flaws. Some collectors will pay extra for the variations ( I think there were both white and yellow toe missiles).

In the past week I have seen 2 one looked fairly well box with all the parts for only 23,000 yen not bad alot less than the 400.00 us but I see what you mean you pay what ever price suits ya...
But like you also stated if you need a price just ask the people here, kinda like a price guide no......

One thing that used to help me a lot with pricing was choosing the "completed listings" option when doing an eBay search.
Unfortunately ebay now only keeps these completed listings around for a couple of months at most, where they used to have them tracked for up to six months or more. Still, it can be handy reference.

P.S. Our supplies in the U.S. are very limited. So my price range may not apply if you are near Hong Kong or Japan.

Yes the buyer has paid for the item.

sometimes it depends where the buyer is from! since the dollar is low vs the euro european buyers are paying more on the last years. but 400usd for a mib one is not easy to find! danguard has a problem that is the lack of toy representations! i remember reading here that the creator objected to allow for making more toys of it. so very little hope for a soc danguard ace. imho i think it is too much money for a small toy. for me only dxes should be more than 200-250 usd!
