I own a black Daltanious, but it has problem. Atraous or #1 Robot is broken at the right knee. I have tape the plastic pieces togather so that Atraous can still stand on his own and can combine with other 2 robots to form Daltanious. My question is that Is it possible to take the knee connector from the color-version of Atraous and replace my broken knee connector ?

Its got screws and roll pins so everything can be disassembled, but since its a black Daltanious you shouldn't tamper with it at all unless especially if you plan on selling it in the future.

I am sure you can do that. I would keep all original parts, but look for a broken one one on ebay for parts. It may be fun to do a resoration being very very careful.

If I had the black version Daltanious I would keep it somewhere safe boxed and just keep it as is. If you do enjoy your stuff displayed just be cautious not to make the damage any worse.

Does anyone know how much my black Daltanious worth ? #1 Robot has broken right knee and missing a small piece of its back head and #3 Robot has a broken left arm (I glued it back). I threw away 12 of its black missiles (have 5 left) when I move five years ago. I have complete set of accessories. I threw away all the cards, but still have the inner and out box. The robot has lots paint chips to #1 Robot legs. I lost two small sticker on the right waist of #1 robot. I almost throw Daltanious away along with my Japanese Volts V when I move five years ago. I own my black Daltanious since 1979 when my mother bought it in late 1979 and I play with it alot.

You need to host them on a free photo hosting site and then link them to here. to post pics you need to download your pictures to server that will host them for you. Try www.villagephotos.com or www.photobucket.com there free for basic accounts. Then all you do is type in the url code in between {url} and {/url} but change the brackets to these [ ]. Or you can use the picture button on the post page and then insert the url code. (coppied from another thread (thanks Chen) but hopefully this will help)

A mint condition version of this toy is worth thousands of dollars. It is one of the rarest popy toys ever made.
I almost cringed when i heard you threw away parts..
