No, I am not selling my black daltanias right now, but I want to find out how much it is worth. The main reason I am not selling it because I have to deal with how I get paid and how to package it properly and make sure it gets there. Also I need replace it with a colored-version.
If it is worth under $1000.00 US, I rather keep the toy.
Yes, I do have the box as well, both inner and outer. I will post the pictures of the outer box over the weekend. The inner box (the insert) is in excellent shape.

I saw one was sold on ebay italy around 9 months ago or might be even more than that for $1600 complete with box but it was in ok shape not perfect and I saw one on yahoo japan sold for $2400 almost a year and half ago maybe alomost close to 2 years. both of these auctions were for 1 day or so time...I don't know if they were a testing listing from the owner or what...but that was what I saw....the color of the box was green with grey...I'm sure it was similar to this toy.

Black daltanias is one of the rarest chogokin for sure,probably THE rarest hands down.
Last complete and excellent condition sold for about 900,000 JPY(about $8000+) on yahoo jap and it was some months ago.
Not sure about a value for your black daltanias but it for sure 10 times rarer than t28.
BTW:black daltanias never was for sale on ebay Italy.

could still be worth quite some money, although not as much as if it were
MIB with complete parts and accessories.
Black Dalt's are Rare, indeed.

if the black Daltanias is in perfect condition then it is worth at least $4500 the ones that I saw and mentioned earlier were ok condition.

No way you can get a black daltanias in perfect condition for $4500. Last one that went for $8000-9000 on yahoo jap was in C8 condition,played and with some damage on the box. There was a dead stock black daltanias at nostalgic-heroes.com that sold for 1,200,000 JPY time ago(asked about it time ago and it is sold). I'm from Italy and with some other collectors have been checking ebay.it and other places for years...no dalta black at all was sold here in Italy. it means C=Condition of the toy and the #=the higher the better C10 it is perfect and mint like you just got it brand new from a store and C7.5 or C8 is average condition used toy...there is a company that odes the grading for toy I think they are called AFA and they do have a website if you like your toy to be graded for yourself or for collectors. the name of the website is called www.toygrader.com |

Look,I have no problem believing you but from your words and the prices you quoted... it is pretty clear you saw the REGULAR daltanious version. The regular version has GREEN color on the box and was on ebay Italy as well...and prices do reflect the ones you quoted. Black daltanias has NO green color at alll on the box. Even the included cards are differet from the regular version with NO green cards AT ALL. As for auctions being on for very few days or hours sometimes,that is totally true,but you can always check them under "completed auctions" on ebay and collectors would have already pointed that out. Also,I know many collectors in Italy and italian dedicated forums as well...none ever saw that and I don't think in Italy anyone owns a daltanias black. Take it easy anyway. |

Anyway on yahoojapan 2 were sold since 2002one made 4500 USDthe other 6700 USD
