I want to buy some of the Revoltech figures but I'm worried that they might crumble in my hands wen I go to pose them. Are they quality toys, or just a wast of plastic?
Thanks in advance!

The revoltech are pretty good, although [IMO] its pose-ability is a bit limited and some of its joints are too stiff, however, they’re capable of great dynamic poses nonetheless. I bought the patlabor releases & a Kaiser. The labors were mine to put beside the rest of my 1/72 stuff [cause I think there about that scale.] The Kaiser was for my 4 year old son a mazinkaiser so that he’d stop asking to borrow my aoshima and max-gokin Kaisers, and guess what its still alive. Overall, the product feels rough what with its joints either misaligned or too stiff, and I am getting a bit tired of the legs being spread all the time but for the $$$ you’re paying I’d say its “ok value” not great just “ok” its cost me $35CDN each so its not cheap for its size. In fact quality-wise & material-wise I’d rank it below hasbro’s Titanium transformer series {IMO] and that’s $10CDN cheaper. However, given the obscurity of the characters with their limited consumer interest, I guess it’s the best bang for your buck for particular character with no very limited figure representations. I intend to get the 3 getters for my son some time this year [thinking of putting it on his birthday cake], as the Kaiser was well received.

From what I've seen in all the pics, and have heard, in many related forums, I'd say the Revoltechs perform better Yoga than many other manufacturers' robot figures out there.
The Revoltechs may be a little stiff in some of their joints, but if they can hold a dynamic pose for long- I'd want one, I really do! Holding their poses, I'd use them for still-image animation and 3D modeling.
I also find it amusing that Kaiyodo would reveal the design specs of their Revoltech joint assembly... to me, that's quite an obvious "slap in the face" way of challenging other manufacturers to "c'mon, we Dare ya to compete with our design".
Kaiyodo's pulled out all the stops, and taking no prisoners!

dont worry about those toys crumbling, im careless when i pose them, dropped them... they are one tough toy. very nice, i got a couple. i dont know about the old ones that first came out, but the ones i have(getter 1,2,3 and mazinkaiser) can take a beating. not that i do it in purpose ^_^

Great! Thank you all. I didn't notice that there was a 19 page thread for Revoltech or I would poster my question there. Thanks again. Tranzor-Z is as good as mine.
